I used to eat at the Grand Avenue Pizza Company downtown and now they’re up near historic downtown Glendale!

I love the new location. Lots of room to sit at both inside and outside.

Carson and his team did an amazing job with helping our 30-year high school reunion run smoothly. From having the area set and cleaned for us to having the food come out at the proper time. We had our own bartender, which made it really convenient for everyone. They were flexible and easy to work with. From the coordination standpoint of a very picky person, they get a 5 star. Everyone who attended raved about the food, so they got another 5 star rating. If you are considering them for an event, I would highly recommend using Grand Avenue Pizza Company.

The food itself was good. Getting the food took a really long time when it was slow so we ended up asking for the pizza to go after eating appetizers. Got home and saw they did Marinara on both pizzas when we asked for the riccata white on both that’s an extra charge. The pizza we saw when we first got there looked like brick fired but ours turned out a little under done. The pepperoni pizza didn’t have much for being double pep and the edges where burned a little but the middle of the pepperoni was under cooked like the pizza. I got fresh Mozzarella and i thought that would be the main, and only cheese but the fresh Mozzarella was more like a topping. The shredded Mozzarella looked a bit under cooked too. We got the cheese bread which was more like a thin crust pizza with just cheese but it was still good. Again just not what was expected and cooked way more done than the pizza. A girl brought out the fried pickles but no ranch and I asked and she said its an extra charge but we looked on the menu and it says it comes with a choice of sauce. We were there about 2hrs waiting on the apps and pizza. For over $100 between two people just expected a little better. They need more than 1 size of pizza which is the 12″ and an actual drink menu with cocktails not just the beer.

We tried the gluten-free crust(picture), regular crust and wings. They were all just ok. The gf crust is just a standard frozen crust. It was a touch burnt but the cheese on top wasn’t melted so you might stick to only one topping if you have to do gf. The regular crust got meh reviews also. The wings were nice and crispy with good flavor.

I loved the OG Grand Ave pizza and swore by them. Sadly this new location seems to have changed something with the ingredients or recipe because it’s not the same pizza as before. The uniqueness of their sauce is absent and the crust not the same too. I had high hopes and loved when I saw they kept an art piece of their logo at the new place but the pizza is just meh now. Not bad but not great. Also, service could have been better. R.I.P OG grand ave pizza company.

This place has changed hands several times in the last few years, I have driven by a few times wanting to go and I finally had the opportunity. First the atmosphere reminds me of an old school pizza joint like a Round table pizza or Mountain Mikes so not bad they had games a bar and a pretty small sitting area inside from what I could see. Outside looked like it would be awesome but due to the 115 degree heat there’s no way we were doing that. Next the service was actually pretty good, our server was very nice you could tell he was fairly new and wasn’t very experienced in handling a fairly large party but he did an awesome job at it so he gets five stars. Lastly the food and drinks, these have to go last because they were by far the absolute worst. The pizza had way too much sauce, the cheese slid right off, the pineapples tasted old and no flavor, the drinks were not well mixed at all. We also ordered sweet potato fries that came with a dill ranch that should have just been called dill sauce because that’s all that I could taste. I would have ordered the wings if they weren’t overpriced but I wonder what those would have tasted like.

I attended a family pizza party at this location. Looks like it may be a new business trying to establish themselves. The pizza was very tasty and the service was wonderful. The party progressed long enough to enjoy the DJ music hour. Great “80’s” music!! I would return and I certainly would recommend this venue to all. Let’s help our local small business establishments succeed together

It’s probably weird to start off by saying my favorite thing was the buttermilk dill sauce. The pizza was excellent but that sauce made it even more awesome! Good service too. Overall a good place to stop for pizza.
