Extremely overpriced for what it is. Upon leaving, I asked myself “is the climb worth the view?” In addition, the website list their hours on Saturday opened till midnight. Yet at 11:20 people were at thr bar but both their front and rear doors were locked ♂️ At what they charge Grand Cru “serves the sizzle and not the steak”.

Arrived for first time to wed night live music outside. This was a delight music was good and outside seating is also very nice. Ordered some charcuterie arrived with nothing to eat it with although menu says comes with crustinis got up went in to ask and next thing you know we have some crackers? Tried shrimp and beef tip small plates which were ok. Ordered blt flat bread this is a food service flat bread crust looked great tasted ok. Ordered tanqueray and tonic was brought a beefeater and tonic and told they were out of tanqueray. No question would i prefer a different gin etc. Wife wine tasted oxidized like bottle had been open for a few days. She tried to order another glass and we asked about getting a bottle to avoid that issue but waitress said they couldnt find any of those bottles in the restaurant? Waitress was kind and believe they want to do the right thing simply believe they need to train details and either deliver on what they have written on menu or change menu to say charcuterie comes with crackers (giving us choice not to order). When spending over $120 for 2 would like to come away feeling like we got what was ordered. Pineapple sorbet was highlight.

The best! Had a reservation for 12 they called me asap to ask to pre order. I told them no as I figured nobody would know what they want that day. They explained it’s so we didn’t have to wait. I told them we wouldn’t care for a wait as we’d be hanging out but there wasn’t even a wait ! Lauren and Jake were awesome so sweet. Love this place and the outdoor area

Best Jumbalaya I’ve ever had, including New Orleans. Beautiful atmosphere and live music. Do not miss this place and no way should this place have 4$, most meals are between 20-30. Google you got it wrong.

My wife and I came to Grand Cru for a date night, and had an excellent experience. Not only was the food amazing,but the staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. They had great live music and a laid back crowd. With a great view from the patio as well, Grand Cru should be a stop for locals and visitors of Wilmington alike!

I went with my significant other for Valentines Day dinner. I totally understand altering your expectations for a busy holiday. We were there for two hours and had to get our dessert to go because of slow service. I got the filet (no complaints). My significant other got the duck and had to send it back (honestly the only time I’ve seen him do that in 3 years) because it was so rare. They brought it back and was not much better. Absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but also hate spending such a large amount tab and regretting it 🙁
