This place sprinkles granulated sugar on top of their ribs. Really? Is proper Chinese BBQ sauce to expensive to put on a &2.50 rib. I’ve been all over the world and have never had a disgusting sugar coated Chinese rib. The food is over priced and not worth it if it was cheap. Disgusting! You should be ashamed to serve this to people. Their Tso’s chicken, Moo Shoo pork, egg rolls, and House lo mein is disgusting too. BIG FAIL.

My husband’s mango in his mango beef was not ripe, and when he advised them, they offered him a free wonton soup. We’ll, he didn’t enjoy that. I was truly disappointed because he recommended the restaurant since he went there previously and raved about it. My food was good, but the description wasn’t accurate. All in all it’s a nice place. I just think they should be more mindful of taking care of their customers properly. They could’ve easily remade his food without “us” requesting them to do it!

I ordered the Hunan chicken, shrimp fried rice and egg drop soup. The Hunan chicken and shrimp fried was good and the portions was a good size. The only issue was that I was not given the crispy noodles for the egg drop soup. Otherwise that I will be ordering from them again.

We’ve had Grand Imperial’s take out twice and have been very happy with what we’ve had. The vegetables are always cooked perfectly and are very fresh. Our broccoli and green been dish came with fresh garlic and it honestly brought me back to my childhood when we would eat at many authentic Chinese restaurants in California. The sweet and sour chicken comes with sauce on the side, so it’s not drenched and soaked when you are about to eat.

My family loves Chinese food and while we have our go- to restaurants that are located near our home, we are more than willing to drive a little out of the way to find Chinese food that is exceptional. A good example is Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant in Katy, Texas.

Bad everything, especially the service. The server was rude and inattentive. I had to get up and walk over to her to get her attention, and she reacted rudely. Do yourself a favor and stay away unless you enjoy throwing money at a business who doesn’t value its patrons.
