A nice smaller bar & grill hidden on the back side of a strip mall. Wide open and fairly packed with tables but the background chatter wasn’t bad. The pizza was delicious. They call it thin crust but I would call it a normal thickness for typical pizza. The marinara sauce was excellent and it had an ample amount of cheese. Its definitely in my top 10 for favorite pizzas after one visit.

Showed up around 10:30am on Sunday. Party of 2. Greeted and sat immediately. Drinks came soon after, and food not too long after that. My friend and I both enjoyed our choices for breakfast. Coffee and cocktails were tasty. Definitely more of a bar feel but I was happy to get away from the typical brunch atmosphere this weekend. The place was clean, hostess and server were cheery, and the owner was nice. Everyone seemed happy to be there. It’s infectious! Honestly, I have zero complaints.

Hard place to find, you are going to have to want to go there. Ordered the Bisuits and Gravy, which were very good, it came with breakfast potatoes. Everything was nice and hot.

We arrived about 10:30am on a Sunday and were told we could have breakfast or lunch. We went with lunch and there was lots of options. Those that had breakfast, the food looked good. The waitress was very attentive, it was very busy. Nice little bar and grill.

Food has been okay, I’ve had the cheese sticks before which were good but the food I had today was not that good. The prices are really good though which is a plus. This is the first time I’ve eaten inside and the waitress was very rude. She took forever to ask what we wanted, filled up our drinks once, and then ignored us for the rest of the night. I wanted to order a dessert but since she was ignoring us all night i wasn’t able to ask her until they were almost closed. When I did ask her if it’d be okay she acted as if that was so rude of me to do and told me that she didn’t want to place an order and surprise the kitchen since they only had a couple of more minutes before closing, like I said I would’ve ordered way before, I also don’t know why she couldn’t ask the cooks in the kitchen if it’d be okay instead of just saying it would surprise them. She definitely needs better customer service skills and should check in on her tables more than just once during her shift. I might only order for carry out now.

My husband and I used to love this place and have been there quite a few times. Today my husband, my kids and myself went for lunch for Fathers a day. They were pretty busy but we got a table right away. The bar tender came over and took our drink and appetizer order. About 5 min later she brought our drinks and took our lunch orders. I’d say about 25 min later we finally got our cheese curds dropped off by a different server. We sat there waiting for almost 50 minutes for our food while we watched people who came in after us get their food before us. Not once during that whole time did anyone check on us or refill our drinks, my husband wanted marinara for the cheese curds but no one came over so he didn’t get it. We were pretty upset and my husband went and asked to speak to a manager, the girl at the register said he was busy cooking so he told her what was going on and her jaw dropped. She couldn’t believe we were treated like that. The bar tender who waited on us had been sitting rolling silverware and saw my husband talking to the girl at the register so she went over there. She started giving my husband a bad attitude talking about it being busy and having 4 tables and the bar to watch (even though she had plenty of time to sit and roll silverware while chatting to another server. She ended up say she would just pay for our meal. Came over to the table were my children and I were sitting and aggressively threw candy onto the table while saying something under her breath. That was probably the worst service I had ever had. We really like the food here but after being treated like that we will not be going back.

This place is absolutely amazing! We came with a large prom group of 24+ and received AMAZING service. The owner was incredibly sincere and went over the top to provide amazing service. The food was also delicious, will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone!

Out for brunch with some friends to a different spot in West Des Moines. There was a long wait at the other place so we popped into here for a drink while we waited. I ended up loving it! Friendly people, great efficient service, and although we didn’t get food, it looked and smelled great! I was so pleasantly surprised and am excited to come back and try more of what this bar has to offer
