I was on a business trip two weeks ago and came across this classic chinese buffet. I wasn’t expecting much as I was in a rush and is just looking for something to fill my stomach. However, the food that this store has to offer just took me by surprise. The customer service were exceptional and I felt really comfortable eating there. The crawfish and the shrimps were just some of the few that I enjoyed greatly during my time there. Everything was perfect and nothing worth complaining about.

Great customer service, great food, and great prices. The staff was very attentive to the customers. The food was good and fresh. It would have been nice to have had more food options, but hey, you can’t have everything. I was surprised when I got the bill. The prices are great! I would recommend this buffet.

I genuinely hope this place has no bad reviews because the staff is SO friendly and for the price you’re paying I honestly don’t know how they stay in business! The food is great, I’ve never been let down. Usually when I go to a buffet at least one item has to be “off” or overcooked, but it’s never happened to me here and we love coming here.

I found nothing true about these bad reviews. So they either stepped up their game, or there are just your typical Karen’s on here whining, because they showed up at 3pm after the lunch crowd demolished the buffet. It’s a buffet folks, they are trying to please the masses. So if you decide to come here, I believe ownership tightened up and it’s a good buffet.As you can see there is no gratuity added. So some of these reviews are false. Again thanks to Karen’s they are trying to destroy this restaurants reputation. Un -American is all I can say.

My family and I always go here to get some good Chinese food, but tonight we were taken advantage of. We came in at 7 o’clock and their closing time said it was 9 o’clock. We came in expecting good food, but the food was cold and thinking they could make a quick buck, they served us the cold food instead of saying they were closed. To be exact, they were charging 77 dollars for cold, stale food for a family of 6. When complaining they said they would take off 10% for horrible quality and service. Will not be coming anytime soon for this mistreatment. Would give no stars, but it is not an option. Spend your hard earned money at a proper eating establishment.

As usual, the food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. I enjoy supporting small businesses, especially during the rise of inflation. Today, while I was there, there was a family that came in who was dishonest about their child’s age to avoid paying. After they all finished eating, they ended up telling the cashier that their kids did not eat when I clearly saw everyone eating as they were sitting at a table next to me. I just want to express my point of view that the behavior was not okay and should not be practiced. Just because some people are business owners, it doesn’t mean that owners can afford to offer free meals. Please be responsible and do what is right during these times! Have a great day!

I’m not from around the area, and maybe it’s because it’s a small place and that’s the only Chinese place people around here have ever been to but the food was just absolutely terrible, and I say that with no disrespect, I even tipped in good faith. I don’t care about the service I’m not there to be worshipped but service was good.

Food was so gross. Either slimy from sitting in the sauces for who knows how long or super dry chicken. A lot of different Sushi but no spicy mayo or unagi sauce. The thick spicy sauce was super salty. The cookies with an almond in the middle were all stale. It was super hot and felt gross being in there. They also charge extra for drinks and they refill your drinks. I had to walk to the server and hand her my drink for a refill. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 6 minutes to the king buffet in Visalia, they don’t charge extra for drinks and the food tastes more fresh.

No disrespect but it was absolutely the worst food I’ve eaten in all the years of my life. By all means if you love to drink cooking oil that tastes like fish than Grand Star is your place. I ate only 5 bites of food for the low price of $28. They needed to check the cameras first before giving us a huge discount of $4. Definetly needs to be checked out by the state. Huge NO and I chose to eat there when McDonalds wouldve been like a 5 star restaurant compared to here. All she could say is they cook with the best Costco oil :)_
