Grandmas Bluegrass Kitchen was a very random off highway stop. Thanks to Google, we found this place only because it had such good reviews. We wanted fresh food, not fast food, which is what this place serves. The sandwiches were different and delicious. The homemade salsa was excellent, and the pickles are excellent, too. Our overall experience was great. I recommend this place.

This is hands down the best hole in the wall food place I have ever been to. If I am traveling within an hour of this place in the future I arrange my plans just to stop here. Grandma is the sweetest person and is an incredible cook. The two girls that I met there also seem very nice. PLEASE TRY THIS FOOD!

Saw this place on my options from maps while on the freeway. I didn’t know what to expect. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. The inside was lovely. I asked the kind man behind the counter for a recommendation and he did not disappoint. I had this amazing sandwich with turkey and ham and bacon and the sauce that was so good. It was sweet and tangy and yummy. It was a big enough sandwich that had had for two meals.

Great down home atmosphere with the best service around hands down. My first time and I tried the ALL TOGETHER sandwich with a bag of chips and a ice cold coke. Then I decided to add a county dog with chili, relish, ketchup, mustard thanking that Shirley just a sandwich wouldn’t fill me up, but boy was I wrong. That thing was huge in the special sauce. Oh my goodness magnificent. It is a definite must try if you’re in the area. You will not be disappointment guarantee. I also got to meet grandma and she was just as sweet as can be. I got the Just Bologna sandwich and it was fantastic. The brown mustard was unbelievable. My boyfriend got the Reuben and said it was delicious as well. The staff was super friendly. Most definitely will be on our list of places to visit frequently. The cat was cute too. .
