Surprisingly good. Had the country fried steak. The waitress was new and very eager to do her best! The manager was very hands on and kept my coffee hot and full. No complaints really other than price. Over $50 for 3 people.

Service was excellent! Coffee was kept full and our waitress checked back a few times. The food was very average. Portion sizes were good for the price. Hashbrowns in the “skillets” ordered by everyone at our table were cooked but not crispy or even browned (more steamed-like). We did feel a bit rushed out, due to clearing the table while we were still at it.

This restaurant is great ! It’s located right by the zoo, so if you want a bite to eat before, or after this is the place to go. You get a huge surplus of food when you order. I had the Fried Cod Special which was awesome. It was a lot more food than I could eat which is a good thing. The soup, Clam Chowder, was a nice dish also. I almost didn’t want to stop eating that because it was that good. The staff are friendly, and eager to please. The waitress kept checking on us, and made sure we were comfortable. The atmosphere is phenomenal, it is very peaceful, and welcoming.

This place is a joke. The wait staff is a joke. It is so obvious that they just don’t care. We were traveling and stopped for breakfast and the waitstaff was just rude the food was awful but hayyyy at least we spent 45 bucks for garbage we could have made at home for 6 bucks. Save yourself some money and frustration…. one stop here and you will know why there are so many 1 star reviews. This place is just sad

Horrible service. I don’t even want to give a 1 star. Had to wait about 10 minutes for our drinks. Food had no taste. Toast was not ready till most of the food was gone. Asked for our table to be cleaned and she forgot until our food came out. The ones next to us ordered and never got their food. Asked for manager and that took another 10 minutes for him to come. No refills on drinks. No masks worn in the kitchen. Waitress was touching her mask.

Great food for great prices! Really good coffee. Can’t go wrong with breakfast. The staff here always goes the extra mile and is so sweet. We always feel welcome here, even with two kids who aren’t always the quietest.
