Great Food! We came in as a party of 13, 30 mins before the kitchen closed. They were super accommodating, and EVERYONE ENJOYED THEIR FOOD! Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I’d come back if I’m in the area. We came on a Friday, so they even had a live band with a good variety of music. It was a little loud for the kids, but once the food came, everyone was happy! This is a tavern and the decorations reflect it, but overall, I’m pleased and would recommend!

This is such a neat place! The building is old and has great charm. The staff was really friendly, good beers on tap, and really good food. The smoked wings are SO GOOD! I had them with the beer cheese and bacon tots…also soooo good. Both sauces (the beer cheese and the Granite run buffalo garlic sauce) are thinner sauces – really delicious! I note their consistency because on the tots it doesn’t look like cheese sauce, but it soaks them and is lighter (and better, in my opinion) than traditional cheese sauces. The cheese sauce also has old bay in it! The smash burger and fries were also pretty tasty!

Great Beer Selection . Love the option of ordering a beer flight. not a big fan of the spiked iced tea but rest was great. The Burger that I ordered to go along with the beer was probably one of the best i have tasted in recent years. All at very reasonable prices.

My family was incredibly disappointed with this restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to get away from our resort to try something local and well-rated that would also accommodate a larger group. We were relatively satisfied until we were informed 45 minutes after ordering that half of our party’s orders couldn’t be filled because they discovered during our visit that their hamburger meat had spoiled. Interestingly, another table had been informed of the same news 30 minutes prior when they were attempting to order the burgers. So the pacing was off (four people received their tacos as six others (four of them were young children) had to re-order), the communication was poor, and the wait time was ridiculous. Our meal took over two hours! What really left us with a bad taste in our mouths was that the server was the manager and she did NOTHING to compensate us for our issues. She didn’t offer to alter anything about the bill or ensure that we felt somewhat satisfied leaving the restaurant at the end of the night. She apologized, to be fair, but that wasn’t enough given what happened during the meal.

We went on a Saturday night, which meant live music. However we went early enough to try and avoid the crowd. Even still, we were at our table for well over 2 hours even though it was not busy at all when we arrived. It only got busy in the last 20-30 minutes we were there, and by that point we were just waiting for the check. The food was pretty good but I don’t know if I would return on a weekend nigh.

Came here from great wolf for some non resort food and found a gold mine. The best burger i have had by far and the fries were awesome.

The Taproom has very friendly staff and a welcoming, casual atmosphere. We had the shrimp and grits and a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, and both meals were delicious! The drinks were also very good – try the Pink Lemonade Spritzer if you like a sweet (but not too sweet) cocktail. Can’t go wrong with the orange crushes either! They also had live music courtesy of the Jules Riser Band, a talented trio of musicians playing covers of classic rock songs.

Best pot roast dinner EVER. This is the best kept secret in Maryland. The place is very deceiving from the name to the outside looks. The food is fantastic…….we drove by this place for over 20 years. We happened to go in this last Saturday and could not believe the pearl inside.

Enjoyable late afternoon lunch with the family. Wait staff was very attentive and the beer list was solid. The pretzel was great and the Shishito pepper appetizer was unique. Burger and fries, cheesesteak, and salad were good. Definitely worth stopping in if you find yourself in Port Deposit.
