Really cute place to be here in Gladewater. Apparently it’s one of the only food places open on a Monday! The server was super friendly and very patient. The chicken fried steak lunch special was ok, needed a little more flavor, the instant mashed potatos were ok, the bacon green beans and corn were both very good, and the chocolate cake was dry with very little flavor and a glaze type icing. The steakfinger basket was amazing and I liked the home cut fries. It was rather busy when we were in there, and there was only the one server waiting on everyone. She came by and cleared trash from the tables as well as checked everyone’s drinks through out the entire lunch crowd while we were there. We will visit again and try something else!

My husband and I had a great lunch. I got the veggie omelette with avocado,it took up the whole plate! Delicious! My house had the chicken strips and he said that they were great! The service is also wonderful, very friendly and helpful!!! We can’t wait to go back again soon!

Hands down best breakfast in town and the daily lunch special along with the sweet tea is actually something special. Genuine home cooked meals provided by a friendly helpful staff. I just wish they stayed open later to serve evening dinner.
