Rahkyt Redux
We had the vegetarian dinner, the catfish po’boy with gumbo and the gumbo dinner and they were very tasty indeed. The catfish batter was flavored tastefully, the gumbo was spicy but not too spicy. The wait staff was attentive and sweet as was everyone else we met. The entire staff was quite hospitable and the deco was kitschy and apropos of the down home theme. Great food, good people and an interesting city!

This place was fantastic. I can’t imagine why they get bad reviews but my family and I had an amazing meal. We were looking for somewhere to eat and there weren’t many options. Hot Springs was packed that day and and we were a party of 10, so we had to take what we could get. I read the reviews on here after we were seated and my heart sank. However, I could not believe how good it was. When the food came out we all talked about how good it looked and started to try our food out. It was soooooo good. You know how you get something really good and you want other people to try it? We passed around all our plates and everything was awesome. Out of ten people, not one bad thing. The only disappointment was the cornbread. But every side order even was great. Try the okra. The best I’ve had. And don’t forget, when you get up front, they’ve got some local stuff they sell. Get the strawberry jam!!!!!

This is a great little place to eat. Not only was the food amazing but our server Denise went above and beyond. It was pouring outside so she let us borrow her umbrella so we could get to the car and then we brought it back to her. She really cares about people and I would go back to this place just to see her again.

Very good food and a super sweet waitress. We were hoping for lunch and breakfast menu both being available in the morning but since it was not, she was able to customize the order to please my picky 8 year old. The food tasted great and we will be back again hopefully! I think the waitresses name was Rita, she was wonderful.

We stopped in during a very busy time (raining and Bike Fest). Service was friendly and efficient. We had pancakes, omelet, and chicken fried chicken. Everything was great and homestyle without being greasy. We skipped it the first time walking by because we didn’t realize there was a back seating section too, so there is plenty of room.

The waitress we had was attentive and kind. The food was delicious, and I felt were fair portions for the price. The biscuits tasted like they were made from scratch, the gravy was perfect, and the pancakes were buttery and fluffy. If you’re looking for a good breakfast, this is a great option on Bathhouse Row!

Seen a sign read Gumbo,Fried Green Tomatoes and that was all it took,waitresses are so attentive,great conversations if they have time,its a Hopping lunch crowd and orders are coming out and we have gave them ours, the plate of Fried Green Tomatoes are huge with two ranch dips,I dip my husband No he loves it plain, he ordered a bowl of shrimp and sausage Gumbo,its a big bowl,enough yumminess to share,if your in town you need to Stop By and Taste the Delish of anything and everything on their menu!! Don’ forget dessert now. Owners are awesome his wife won first place in a Gumbo Cook Off. We went back and ordered Gumbo and I had their lunch special catfish Po Boy and fried Squash with a honey Mustard Dip
