The food was great it was a long wait after the wait the guy burnt up my fried chicken they only had legs no chitterlings no peach cobbler or banana pudding no cake. The lady at the register very sweet lady but she has to speak up and move a little faster was there for a hour waiting on my food. The Greens are bomb the turkey wings bomb I was truly pleased with my food and the Service very very nice guy serving the food

I ordered 2 plates: meatloaf, rice & gravy, yams and greens. My meatloaf was salty, and my collard greens had a lot vinegar . My yams are good if you like sweet candied yams lol . I also had the short ribs. They are tuff and it was only 1 large piece.

I ordered the wings special. Came with 4 wings and 2 sides. Price about 20.00. The girls that worked there were super cool. But the wings had no depth of flavor. Seasoning was under par. Seemed like they seasoned them with salt after they came out of the fryer. Big no no. I’m a Chef and if you want flavor marinade or brine for flavor. Greens and dressing were my sides. Greens had an unpleasant sweet taste, while the dressing was just ground up old cornbread. Will not be able to support them in the future. But the girls were cool.

Never been changed my mind the way the lady answered the phone sounding stale as if she doesn’t wanna be there. Okay I decided to go food wasn’t bad my gravy tasted burnt my Turkey wings were a bit dry due to not being enough juice for them to be submerged in the oxtails were a bit tough. But what they need to do is wear gloves. They tried to give me dressing crumbs the end of the pan it looked dry and not edible. I’ll give them one more try bc they my ppl and it wasn’t lacking taste but they can fix a few things and get rid of them nasty chairs in the waiting area or stack them more neatly

I’ve been Waiting to try this place ever since Kanye stepped foot in the building. I’m a little late on the review however I finally made it 2 Sundays ago. I got the baked chicken, Mac & Cheese, rice&gravy, yams, and greens. Greens tasted like they were sweetened with sweet baby rays and a dash of hot sauce. Very weird ! Chicken was dry for Dark Meat, Mac and cheese tasted like it was seasoned with extra salt ! Gravy and rice tasted very basic almost like can gravy with extra salt added, yams are orange diabetic bytes. What a let down ! I’m sure the food was great at one point but get them girls out the kitchen if this is the quality they putting out.

The food is delicious. The location is very congested. I know real estate is expensive in Los Angeles but Business HAVE TO START THINKING LONG TERM, yes the is good but if I can’t get in and out to get, eventually I will go were the food is just OKAY, at least I won’t be frustrated.
