We wanted to try a BBQ place that we have not been to. We loved this place!! I had the half order of pork ribs with Mac and cheese and fried . The seasoning was perfect, and the ribs fell off the bone!! My boyfriend had the Sgt Howard’s special with pulled pork and chicken with corn nuggets and Cole slaw. Yummy! We loved it and will enjoy the leftovers too!! We even said it’s been so long since we have had Great BBQ. It’s a southern Florida home with charm! Everyone who works there is polite and happy to help. I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but we definitely will be back with friends!!

Made the drive from Longwood to try this place out and so glad we did. The food is top notch, probably the best BBQ in Orlando. We tried the deserts, the brisket, the wings, and the ribs. All were fantastic. I highly recommend the beans, they are top notch! We also tried three of the deserts, they did not disappoint. It’s a drive but one worth making we will return again.

Y’all. I was excited. I wanted to cry with joy. I wanted to slap my momma. The food was just that good. I have never had BBQ as good as this. It was juicy. It was tender. It was seasoned so well it didn’t even need the sauce – the sauce was just an added bonus, unique and delicious in its own right. The service was wonderful. It’s hard to find a restaurant that checks everything off the list, but they’ve done it. My family got the generously portioned Brisket Splits and Sgt. Howard’s with ribs and pulled chicken. I highly recommend.

The young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful with the items on the menu. Our food came out fast and fresh. The young lady came by our table several times to make sure everything was OK. Everything was great. Ribs,collard greens, fried corn on the cob, sweet potatoe fries, corn casserole, and the Heavenly corn bread. Owner Mr. Jay Brown and his crew at Granny’s Southern Smokehouse are putting out delicious home cooked food. What makes me give Granny’s a 5 star. Went to their restroom. It was CLEAN AND SMELLED CLEAN. If they put this kind of effort into keeping the restrooms that clean. The rest of the establishment is on point. We drove 2 hours to eat here, and it was worth every minute we were on the road. See you soon Mr. Brown

If you are looking for authentic and excellent southern food, you must visit this place. At first you may have second thoughts about the unassuming location, but you will be nicely welcomed by Mita, her smile and her passion for the food made our experience even better. The lemon pepper chicken wings were so moist inside and crispy on the outside, the corn casserole and the fried green tomatoes were to die for, delicious corn nuggets and baked beans! Even a simple cole slaw was amazing! We will go back!!!
