I was there the first night Grano opened and I will tell you that I was not very impressed. My food wasn’t seasoned well and everything was bland. Portions were great and the price was good. I always give every place a second chance. Boy was I glad I did with Grano!!! I ordered the same Kebab that I did the first night and what a difference. The food was incredible. The hidden gem here though…the pizzas. No one expected them to be as good as they turned out to be. I’ve been back several times and have turned my parents into fans as well.

Very good! The only complaint I had was the shrimp was over done so I sent the dish back. My friend loved her food. The owner brought us a sample a new dish featuring pasta and lobster that was delicious. Yum! And right across from a Native American Historic Site.

The lentil soup was excellent and the vegetable sampler platter was very good but the pita was low quality and the tiramisu was frozen??? Really nice server but it seemed a very long wait for what we ordered. Still, we’d probably go back next time we travel through Charleston.

Grano is truly a shining star for the area. Fast and competent service, great selection, and outstanding food. Went there with a party of eight, which sometimes challenges waiters/waitresses and the kitchen – but not here. We had ordered quite a variety of selections from the menu, and ALL were outstanding, as well as unique, delivered much faster than most restaurants. Definitely recommended.

Best gyro I’ve ever had. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Great tzatziki with fresh dill. Yum-o. Only complaints: the fries could use seasoning, and they don’t serve alcohol. Otherwise it was a perfect experience.

Had lunch while passing through Charleston. Great little spot. Best bruchetta I’ve ever had. The flatbread was the size of a small pizza, and the fries were amazing. Friendly staff and good coffee. Desserts looked incredible, but I didn’t have any.

This was an absolutely horrible experience. I wanted pizza, but there was no dough. Hummus was runny, burger was absolutely burnt and tough to chew not to mention we ordered the Buffalo Bleu burger and it was just a cheeseburger and the gentleman working argued that it WAS a buffalo burger. The soda was poured from a hot can making it flat and watered down. Worst $35 I’ve ever spent. No one should ever go there.

The food was excellent so no complaint there. The staff was polite as well, so also no complaint there. My only real complaint is that at some point it seemed like the staff got overwhelmed and 3 of the 4 people in our part got our meals, including our appetizer but the 4th meal took 10 more minutes to arrive. I would without a doubt go back because I loved the food but hopefully it was just a hiccup with the timing of our meals.

This place is Phenomenal!!! I have been working for OliveGarden, and the food there is amazing – this restaurant, however, is certainly on that level or even better!!
