We saw that this place had great reviews so we decided to check it out while we were in town for a baseball game. It did not disappoint!

Grassi’s has been a staple lunch spot of mine since I was a kid (although at that point, it was the previous location closer to Lindbergh). Grassi’s is cafeteria style and is always generally quick.

I grew up near there since a kid…… I’m 60 now, so all I can say is I am a Realtor and go to Our Lady Of The Pillar Parish Church and of course everybody needs a day off but I would bring a sack of Helen sandwiches home every week if they were open !!!! LOVE THEM plus the Grassi salad is infamous

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 40 years. It’s changed ownership a few time but they still have the original menu. The Italian salad is always a tasty choice. I ordered the salciccia sandwich and salad. It was delicious.

This was my first visit. The pizza and salad were fresh and delicious. The employees were kind and knowledgeable about the restaurants history. I can’t wait to try the black and white pizza.

Excellent Italian spot for lunch. We went on a Wednesday just before noon and there was no wait. You grab a tray and order cafeteria style. I got the meatball sandwich (which included a salad) and my wife got the lasagna (which included a salad, garlic bread, and drink). I think it was $24 total. It was very quick and tasty. I’d like to try the pizza next time. There wasn’t much to the salad, but I really liked it.

You cannot see this hidden gem from the road nor is there a sign with their name on the road. When you do find it you’ll be greeted by the bright, clean and airy ambiance. The staff is quick and professional in taking your order at the counter and then deliver your food to your table. I got the roast beef sandwich which was hot and melted in my mouth. I also got the pizza which was thin crust and had a tasty sauce. Both came with their famous Italian salad which reminded me of what my grandma used to make.

Very casual place with a food line where you order. The soft drinks (coke products) are self serve, and they bring your entrees out to your table.
