The place is a hidden gem in this small town. It’s a clothing store, CBD bar, restaurant and artist collective. The bake goods are delicious got an elderberry muffin. We ordered house veggie burger with vegan cheddar on white bread and the avocado veggie burger with vegan cheddar on a wrap. The service was okay.

A must stop place for food in Marshall! I had a fantastic house made veggie burger, and can’t recommend the hand cut fries enough. They make their own ketchup too! Great gluten free bread options, and both the biscuits and tortillas were very good. Really enjoyed the lavender lemonade and the knowledge of the server when we were there was incredible. Some of the best service I’ve had anywhere! We liked it so much that we came back to order more food to take home.

Fresh, homemade everything! We had the Egg Platter with hash browns, and the Avocado Toast, with a house salad. These may sound simple, but the details matter here, which made theses meals outstanding. Fresh eggs, fresh vegetables, homemade biscuits and sourdough bread, topped off with homemade sauces, salad dressings and jams — each bite was more delicious than the last one. We can’t wait to return!

My friend and I visited this place on the first day of our trip and we enjoyed it so much we came back two more times before we left! The staff was so kind and helpful with helping us decide which places to visit and fun things to do in the area. Food was delicious as well – they make everything in house! We love the Grateful Organic Diner 🙂

As a vegetarian person the food I had here at the Grateful Organic Diner was the best food I had in one week in the NC and SC region. The woman at the front desk was super helpful and super nice and there is a little play area for the little ones. Definitely stop by even as a non veggie person.

We ordered the Shakedown Stir Fry and it was really good and super flavorful! It was a little spicy and sweet and would definitely order again. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. Definitely regret not staying and hanging out to eat – another time for sure!

I am in love. This place is all organic and vegetarian and pretty much everything on the menu can be made vegan if it isn’t already. The food is so good and healthy. We ate there for breakfast lunch and dinner when we first moved to Marshall. Peter, the owner is such a sweetheart. The vibe is so awesome and they have live music every week. If you’re vegan or vegetarian or a health conscious eater or looking for a high vibe place to hang out, definitely check this place out.

What a gem! Such a low key place, that has such an extensive menu. I had the Franklin’s Power smoothie, and it was delicious. I also had the Carolina veggie burger and the tofu fingers with Korean sauce. Everything was what I could have expected at an expensive city restaurant. The prices were just about right though. One of the best of my whole trip!
