So, I recently tried the Nashville Hot Grilled Cheese at Crater in Irvine, and let me just say, it was amazing! The chicken had a nice kick of heat, while the coleslaw added a tangy and refreshing element. The buffalo fried chicken, tangy coleslaw, and pickles really sealed the deal on this grilled cheese.

I was craving for a mouthful of mashed avocado in my sandwich. Instead I can barely see any(see my photos attached). The amount of ingredients is so much fewer than the picture outside and I felt scammed. The taste was pretty good though.

Great little place for a quick bite. I got the basic with fried chicken and a side of onion rings. The sourdough bread had great flavor and was crispy on the outside. The cheeses were rich in flavor and oozed out every bite. I enjoyed the onion rings they were nice and crunch and cut thick.

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I ate a delicious grilled cheese with lobster. The staff was amazing and very friendly. I am a pescatarian, I only eat seafood. They had selections for vegans and accommodations for all of your health & wellness needs. Even the customers inside the store were friendly to us. It’s very clean inside the restaurant and your food comes out hot and cheesy! Plenty of different selections of burgers and other food items as well. I love you greater grilled cheese ❣️

The food was amazing, pesto chicken with a side of fries. Sandwich had a very tasty and creamy sauce, melty cheese, bread was grilled with a crispy outer layer. Fries were crispy and topped with parm and herbs (unsure if fresh). The ketchup was sweet and spicy, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was made in-house.

Great customer service. Food was very delicious. We tried the Grated Grilled Cheese, the Avocado Grilled Cheese, an order of fries, and the Grated Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese wasn’t the best but still good. It had 5 types of cheeses, walnuts, and caramelized onions. I feel that with some bread crumbs, it would’ve made it perfect. The full order of fries come with your choice of two out of the three house aiolis. We chose the chipotle and ketchup aioloi. Overall the food is delicious and one of a kind but it is a little pricey for a grilled cheese place. The bill came out about $40 for two people. But definitely one of the more modern and unique grilled cheese options out there.
