My friends and I didn’t stay at the lodge but we found this place on Google and decided to have breakfast at the dining hall. Food was terrific! Farm fresh and served family style so everyone could have a little bit of everything. Everything tasted great but the grits and biscuits were my favorite, so savory. The staff were the kindest and most attentive folks. True Southern hospitality. Something us Jersey folks aren’t always used to, haha. Hope to be back to the area again one day and would love to try dinner there. P.S. The views from there were spectacular.

We stayed in the farm and had dinner and breakfast here. For dinner, each person ordered an entree, and sides were served in family style. We ordered pot roast (beef) and chicken & dumplings (German style), and both of them were good. For breakfast, there’s no menu, and they just served everything in family style. Overall, we enjoyed the food here.

My family and I got dinner here the other night and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent, and they had some of the best cheesecake we’d ever had (big thank you to Sam for that!) We definitely recommend it here, and we’ll be coming back if we’re in the area again.

First time staying here. Had a room in the Poplar Lodge. Dinner was simply delicious. Farm to Fork Family Style dinner. Order your entree from a variety of offerings and all sides are served as sharable. I had the Butchers Steak served on horseradish sauce. Sides were Roasted Potatoes, Baked Squash, Corn on the Cob, Mixed Green Salad. Rolls and Dessert was included. Fresh Peach Pie a la mode. Highly recommended!

Peaceful setting with a great view of the venue area. We attended the Peach Festival and enjoyed the day also purchased peaches and apples grown locally.

A mountain get away with mediocre food. Scenery and hiking are to die for. Lodging is quaint and cozy. Family oriented and tucked away in the mountains.

Great place to get off the grid and just chill. Cell service doesn’t even bother you, since there is none! We stayed in one of their log cabins for the weekend, and actually interacted with each other. Board games, hiking, and creek fishing, were just a few of the things we did while saying here. The brunch in the main lodge was really good. We’ll have to come back very soon, and highly recommended for anyone trying to get away from all the noise of daily life.
