We had a wonderful Mother’s Day lunch at the Great Divide. There was a bit of a wait but it was mother’s day so it was not outrageous given the day.

Wow, this is one remarkable restaurant in old downtown Castle Rock which highly impressed me to the upmost. This establishment is very energetic, the ambiance is great, the music is awesome, the atmosphere is inviting and soothing, and this place is great to visit with family and friends. I highly encourage others to come visit this great family friendly location.

Best French Onion soup I had so far in any restaurant of this scale, but the worst Nacho I had anywhere. The tuna tar tar was decent, if you get the fresh Guacamole (i had once before and it was seriously no bueno – this time it was nice). Great selection of beers and hard drinks. Pretty mellow and cozy, service from the bar was usually good and friendly but servers are hit or miss. ♂️My friends and I still like coming.

Went early for lunch and sat near the outside overlooking the bike path. Great time to go as we beat the rush. We had the Prime Dip and The Guacamole Burger. Both really good. Everything was hot. The garlic park fries were a little crispy but hot as well. The prices were a little high, but overall good lunch.

We came in the middle of a weekend afternoon, about 330 before the evening rush. Perfect timing. Seated right away.

The cucumber mint mule was good. Water cups are plastic and heavily used. The brie fondue was delicious. Fried pickles just average. My turkey melt wasn’t really a turkey melt. It was more like a turkey sandwich with warm turkey on toast. The cheese was lacking and the bread was soggy on the plate side of the sandwich. My wife’s mushroom burger was overcooked but she said it wasn’t bad. Server was young and not attentive to our drinks at all. The atmosphere is cool. Parmesan fries are delicious. We will be coming back to try something else in the future.

We visited for brunch around noon on a Thursday. We were able to be seated pretty quickly and the service was reasonable – our server was friendly and informative. The reason for only a 4 star rating for food was for the eggs Benedict, as the eggs were slightly overcooked (lacking in the runny goodness one expects with this hard to master dish). But flavor and portions were good. A large selection of beer, but many seemed to be geared toward hop fanatics – we did find the raspberry one to be very nice. Parking can be a bit tricky here too, but there is a garage nearby that we didn’t try.

Really great place. Walking in you see lots of conversations happening by customers in front by the fire pit. All are friendly and smiling. Inside is beautifully designed. Waitresses and bartenders are friendly and busy. We ordered a beer, a Bloody Mary and hummus appetizer. Bloody Mary was earthy but good after the first few sips. Hummus was so good. Good mix of flavors on the plate. For all we payed 25 dollars. Great for a Sunday adventure.

we will be back! we started w the brussel sprouts app & we devoured it too quickly to get a pic. Sam had the turkey sandwich & I had an arugula salad. we both would happily repeat those meals. not the restaurant’s fault that I have sensitive hearing & the music was too loud for my sensitive ears. next time we’ll go on a day when we can enjoy the patio or the firepit. we were there yesterday & it was quite windy ahead of the storm. drinks! they have a variety of mules & I love mules. Sam was happy with his beer & ordered a second one. we really enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows & plants are always a nice touch. enjoy!

Really great food and wonderful service. I liked that there were options for me that were gluten free, and that they took my celiac (allergy) seriously. Can’t wait to come again.
