Very delicious! Large portions! Friendly staff! Best Chinese restaurant in area. Highly recommend. Limited amount of dining space but I got carryout. 1 meal enough for 2-3 meals for 1 person. Galena does not have a Chinese restaurant but Dubuque is near Galena and the drive is worthwhile to get this super delicious food. Not greasy or highly salty. Someone commented that they did not receive fortune cookies but I did have them with my meal.

Great Dragon near target has always been fantastic food in my experience. It is always fresh and hot. And they have some of the best black pepper chicken you can get in the tri-state area. The service is pretty good, you just have to understand they get straight to the point it’s call, place your order, food ready in 10 to 15 mins and don’t be late. Have to sometimes watch out for the bag they give you as the brown bag inside sometimes leaks at the bottom. Good portion size sometimes I’ll get the large order and can stretch that out for 2 or 3 meals. Store atmosphere is very outdated but in some ways I like the old school early 90s vibe of the place it could just use some little upgrades here or there.

First time there. Got the general chicken lunch special and added an egg roll. The egg drop soup was as good as it gets Very yummy. I should have asked for green onions but plenty of egg in it. The portion for a lunch special was HUGE! I made 4 meals out of it. Loaded with veggies. My ONLY complaint is the veggies were not cooked much. They were very hard. They were the same in my friends disg. I will ask them to cook them longer next time. The flavor was spot on! Egg roll was good too and the food was piping HOT! I got the fried rice but meh. Not very much flavor by itself. But the flavors in my dish were excellent! Definitely going back.

Excellent weekday lunch buffet. The food is always hot, tasty, and ample. Best to go on a Thursday or Friday during the lunch hour. Be aware there is limited seating. Friendly and efficient staff. Family owned. Recommended.

This is a nice, no-frills, family owned Chinese eatery serving up American Chinese classics at great prices. It is not a fancy place, but it’s clean and serves some very tasty food. Portion sizes are amazing for the price, a dinner special that cost about $10 fed me for two full meals. The General Tso’s Chicken has a great flavor, less sweet than most General Tso’s and more savory. Very good overall.
