Lights, Camera, all you can eat breakfast! And there I was on a cold Saturday morning, the wind was blowing, the birds were chirping and I felt the warm embrace of our Lord and Savior bless me that day! I walked downstairs with my beautiful husband. Unsure of how to satisfy our wretched hunger, we waddled down to the front desk where we were audaciously greeted by Diego. No not the explorer, but the riveting receptionist. Diego thank you for the wonderful recommendation of The Great Karoo!

Easy access right inside resort and very good food at breakfast buffet! Just through the window from indoor water park, the breakfast buffet was clean and had tons of choices. We were pleasantly surprised. Excellent Orange juice (no pulp which my kids appreciated) Smoothies, fresh omelets, crispy bacon, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bfast pizza…you name it they have it. We really had a great experience from the moment we walked in…service was a strong A+! Our waitress’s name is Pam and she was fantastic…great conversation and great recommendations regarding the resort and things to do while here⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Saturday July 15, 2023!! The Thompson Family Reunion folks hit the The Great Karoo Marketplace Buffet! There was probably 30 of us! The staff was welcoming to our entire party! The server for my table was ADE! I believe she was the server for most of us too!! She is a top notch employee! She consistently moved through the room, attending to our needs! I can’t sing her praises enough!!! Many thanks to ADE for a job well done! 10/10, highly recommend! The buffet always consists of great food and even better service. The coffee alone is better than most places. It may be a little more expensive than typical breakfast spots, but if you add it on when you make your reservation you can save a few dollars as well. It’s a must when we are in the Dells and we always end up coming having breakfast at the buffet at least once.

Beautiful buffet with windows by the waterpark. Amazing food options. Even steak! Only gave a 4.5 due to the pancakes not being amazing. All the other food was fantastic. Excellent helpful, kind, attentive staff.

Very friendly staff and our waiter made sure every need of ours was met. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth a try. They have such a big spread of food to pick from and it’s all very tasty. If you love breakfast or you’re a big foodie this is for you.

Worst food poisoning of my life!!! My family of four ate there at it was nearly $90 and then they expected gratuity for getting my drink while I have to get my own food. I instantly had diarrhea and was vomiting for two days with stomach cramps. I was able to narrow it down to the eggs with the salsa and salsa on the side. This was the only item the rest of my family did not eat but I did. The food tasted like it was old and reheated. Juice was watered down. Defiantly not the way I wanted to spend my vacation. Eat somewhere else.

Food was absolutely delicious and amazing! There’s something for everyone. Three of us in our family are vegetarian, and there was plenty for vegetarians to eat. Desserts were out of this world! It’s a one price per person Buffet all-you-can-eat.
