Menu prices are different on hard menu in restaurant vs paper menus. When we advised the staff that the price was not what was on the menu, he got very irate and told us it was only a little different in price and we were paying for a good product. He did not reverse the overcharge and when we asked for to go boxes , he ignored us and walked off. When he returned he stood and glared at us b4 handing us our boxes. I ordered beef and broccoli with chestnuts and when I asked where the chestnuts were, he advised me that the old owners gave chestnuts but that he does not. He finally went in the back, got about 6 water chestnuts and brought them cold in a Styrofoam cup to my table where he dropped them, glared at me and walked away. He is the rudest business owner I have ever met and has no qualms about letting u know he doesn’t like u if u question the overcharges on his menu. the lamps and curtains are covered with dust and filth and gnats. The carpet sticks to your shoes and is duct taped in many places. I would stay away from this restaurant and avoid the insults, dirt and bugs.

The only Chinese restaurant in town and thankfully it has a great selection of delicious food. Although the orange chicken is not on the menu they do serve it. The Great Wall is known for its call in orders and speedy service. One of my and my wife’s favorite places to eat and is also located about a block away from the movies and a couple blocks from the steam plant event center which makes it nice for a date night not to mention the beautiful Arkansas river just down the street. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone passing through our small town.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Worst restaurant I have EVER been to!!! The food was disgusting, soggy and every dish we ordered had a dirty dish/sour taste to it. We told the owner that the dumplings were Very soggy and we would like to return them, and she said she ‘Did not care’ and we should have ordered fried dumplings if didn’t want gooey/soggy dumplings. She refused to return them, made us pay for them dispute seeing that we didn’t eat any of them, and was EXTREMELY RUDE to us during our entire dinner. We paid almost $40 for the GROSSEST Chinese food I have ever been exposed to and I am concerned for the cleanliness of the restaurant if EVERY PLATE OF FOOD WE ORDERED had the same sour/dirty dish taste. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND NEVER EAT HERE. Your stomach and wallet will thank me later, I PROMISE!!

I would not recommend this place. Ordered the dumplings and they were soggy and gross tasting. Tried to send them back and they made me pay for them. Horrible customer service. Waiter argued with me that I ordered the wrong food. No ordered the right food you just make crappy food. Do not recommend this place. Go to the pizza place across the street. Don’t normally leave reviews.

Stay away! I would not have given them any stars but the rating system won’t let me. Staff is extremely rude. Food is not served as described and when you bring it to their attention they argue with you and grudgingly attempt to make it right with little success. They overcharge the customer more than what is listed on the menu then argue with you about that as well. Very unprofessional, absolutely no customer service. In fact, they go out of their way to make your dining experience the worst you have ever had.

American Chinese Food in all its mediocre glory! Do expect the same comfort (Chinese) food you grew up with. Do not expect them to charge you what is printed on the menu. If you are polite, as I am, and keep your expectations low, you will be graced will prompt, courteous service. But beware, they kind of act like they’ve only been in the states since last week. It’s Chinese Food in Salida, Colorado. If you want really good Asian Cuisine and want to feel like the restaurant owners invited you into their home for dinner, try Thai Mini Cafe in Poncha Springs.

A clean, well lighted place. The only Chinese restaurant for many miles! But food is good, reasonably priced. The owner/server my seem a bit brusque but pay it no mind she really isn’t all that rude. Or maybe I am used to her ways!

We were seated before 2 other groups but they took both of their orders before even coming back to our table. One of the tables even received their soup almost before the sat down. Clearly favoritism towards their friends who come in there frequently. We are from out of town and have come here about 5 times but this is unexceptable. Will not go back again.

the woman at the restaraunt on top of being very rude over and double charged us for our food, meaning our reciept was more than the menu said and she ran our card twice. when we called she said “not my problem” and hung up DO NOT EAT HERE it is not worth the headache of disputing with your bank.

we used google maps to find this place. The menu on the map had prices. When we ordered and picked up, we ended up paying twice as much. When I called the restaurant, they denied those prices were their’s. they said someone else put that menu and prices on there. Then he pretty much hung up. Beware. dont know if that was true but I felt scammed. We didn’t like the food either.
