I’ll start by saying that I’m rather picky about my Chinese food. I’ve had it from many places all over this area and in NYC. This place is definitely in my top 5, and number 1 for this area’s offerings. The number one thing I love about Great Wall is the fact that they use all white meat chicken in their dishes. The status quo is often dark meat for dishes like sesame chicken or general Tso’s. Every dish here is white meat. That means no cartilage, no fat, no grossness. I love that. Sesame chicken is one of my favorite dishes, but it can often be ruined by low quality chicken. All the ingredients always taste fresh.

Not sure why the negative reviews. We ordered by phone, the food was ready on time, the order was correct. Food was some of the best Chinese takeout I’ve eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food. Tasty tender meat and perfectly cooked veggies. Not soggy, not crunchy. Fried rice was delicious. Dining room didn’t look too inviting but takeout is the way to go.

5 years ago I wouldn’t have given them 5 stars. More like 3. But, that being said, they upper their game. The beef terrayari, that I once found terrible, they changed to a much better supplier. The rice, which was previously ok. Is now good. Their specialty plates are extremely good. I order the gain chicken. Don’t let the name fool you. Its not garlicky at all. I get it mild. I now find a place that was low on my list, move up to one of my preferences places. My wife has noticed the changes and its her favorite local Chinese food for the price. If you want good take out at a reasonable price, this is a great place. Stay thirsty my friends;
