Small Dominican restaurant selling traditional meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Staff is friendly and efficient. They offer takeout or dine-in at one of many tables in the clean dining area. Food choices are displayed behind glass at the order counter and there is a cold case with assorted beverages to purchase. Prices are reasonable. I ordered my breakfast meal from the “TooGoodToGo” app and received a meal with delicious large portions of various Dominican breakfast food. Parking is challenging though, with No Parking signs on both sides of the busy side street. Also, the sign above the restaurant displays a different name (Yamasa Restaurant), which is a bit confusing. I will definitely return to try the lunch and dinner meals.

Edit to original review which is below …. Upon reading the owners reply to my review, I took my uncultured self to the fridge and put the spaghetti back with the rice and beans, and …it was delicious. This goes to show, that sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone and try new things! I also spoke with a Dominican friend of mine, and he explained to me that it was the packaging that made it look unappealing since it smooshed it all together. I stand by my packaging comments …and will happily admit I was very wrong about the “spaghetti on rice and beans” thing… It was a combo I would have never of tried ….and I am very happy I did . ——–Original Review Starts Here———–Went here today using “Too Good To Go” App (Which is an app used to reduce food waste by offering mystery meals at a discount of foods that would typically be tossed at the end of the night.

❤️I love the food here, it’s like mom’s food, in Paterson there are many Peruvian restaurants, but this is really a taste of home, from Peru, the food is incredible, they are very friendly in the attention, the atmosphere It is spectacular and the dishes are well served.
