They have very friendly and personal-feeling service because the waitress was very helpful in giving us suggestions in what to order and helped us pick things that she recommended. This was very nice because it was our first time and she helped us pick delicious traditional Burmese food. They have good vegan options and the food in general has a very good taste. Overall it has a very authentic feel with interesting and delicious flavors. If you like to try new things this is a very good option.

The only Burmese restaurant I’m aware of in a 50 mile radius, Green Elephant is unmatched, serving dishes that seem to bridge iconic Indian and Southeast Asian meals. I love the lighting and decoration of the dining room, and the woman who runs the place is very attentive, helpful, and easy going. I am not especially familiar with classic Burmese food, but Green Elephant seems to be an excellent place to get acquainted.

This place is amazing! The owner is so sweet and walked us through what to order. The menu has so many interesting dishes. We were especially interested in trying some of the Burmese dishes. They were all delicious! The tree tea salad is a must! The restaurant is small but very welcoming and peaceful. I will definitely be coming back!

Our food tasted wonderful. I loved the Me-Go-Rang. Server was very nice and food was prepared quickly. Their curry had less sauce than I expected and was more about the veggies/meat, but it tasted great. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu.

Wanted to try this place with my family given the reviews even though out of the way but was told to leave because “there weren’t any tables available within the hour and given a few groups ahead of us, by the time one is available, they are at closing.” This was a Friday night. Maybe it was a communication issue and maybe the hostess meant well but I have been in many restaurants throughout the world and even worked in one, mantra was stay OPEN until CLOSED or just advise the customer of the wait time and give them the option to wait or not OR even offer take-out. Strange experience.
