Fantastic breakfast. The eggs Neptune were amazing. The crab cakes were delicious. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Melissa was super friendly. The outside patio was perfect. I would very highly recommend this place.

We visited traverse city. The reviews seemed good so we went here for breakfast. I look for the best in each place. Maybe today was not so great. Waitress was great. Food was just ok. BaKed oatmeal? This really need to be taken off the menu. You could cover it in sugar and chow it. Really not eatable. The bread was very good and the french toast was done well. Just not a place I will go again.

Food was solid amd portions were huge. They made a grilled cheese that was reportedly “the best”. The reuben with cherry kraut was great. Staff was a delight. Very kid friendly. Wish they had a larger menu.

My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast. There really wasn’t anything special about this place, so if you’re just hungry I’m sure you’ll be fine. We both thought it was average all around while the prices were a bit on the high side for the amount you get…especially the hashbrowns. I am vegetarian and the options are limited, but they did accommodate a substitution for more hashbrowns. There are better breakfast options in TC in my opinion.

This was the worst dinning experience I have had in a long time. There is nothing good I can say about this place. We waited 35 minutes for me and my wife to get our food. My eggs over medium were barely cooked to over easy. Loose and snotty the way I hate them. One slice of toast and not nearly enough hash browns. Food quality and quantity lacking. The atmosphere was very loud and noisy with voices and the sound of plates and the dish washing machine sitting behind a short wall at the back of the restaurant. At the end I had to wait another 10 minutes for the restroom since they only had one and there was a long line. Also, the overall cleanliness is greatly lacking. This place is terrible.

The server was very kind and helpful, and the location good. The food was pretty good as well. I would give it another star if it wasn’t so hot inside, and if the food (breakfast food) didn’t take 45 minutes to arrive after being ordered. Was still an overall positive visit.

On a very busy Saturday this establishment didn’t measure up. Wait times for food were long, several tables expressed frustration with the wait. Servers did warn people in advance that the kitchen was behind. All of that excusable if the food was worth the wait. Sandwiches were okay, not special in any way. Big disappointment was the soup. Both broccoli cheddar and asparagus soups were more like paste than soup. After 2 spoonfuls your mouth was left with a tacky sticky feel. With the number of options in Traverse City we won’t return.

We looked on their website, and googled but couldn’t find their lunch hours listed anywhere. They don’t serve lunch until 12:30! We were there at 10:30 and lunch is not an option. The food is usually good but I don’t think it’s an acceptable oversight to not post your lunch hours anywhere. Not on menus, not on the site, not even listed in the restaurant.

It was literally just ok. Like one of those meals, you go “well at least it was substance, I guess.” It was busy, small, and the food was nothing to write home about. It’s an up north hole in the wall diner but in the middle of traverse. I’ve been to some dank hole in the walls- this was not one so it just felt weird. Server was friendly.

So bad. Went there with three friends for our friends birthday morning breakfast. We all ordered drinks and breakfast, one friend ordered biscuits and gravy. Food came out for three of us. They indicated biscuits and gravy would be up soon. 15 minutes went by and they never showed. We asked the waitress what was going on, at which point she indicated that they were out of biscuits and the birthday girls food wasn’t coming. She shared her husbands meal and we left. Our waitress offered to pay for her meal, but when the bill came she refused to take it off the bill and instead only offered 50% off one breakfast. She literally ruined our breakfast and was so incompetent we were all left dumbfounded by her lack of concern. Avoid this place, the service sucks, the food was mediocre at best and the attitude of the workers leaves a lot to be desired. Absolutely terrible.
