It had been over 20 years since the last time I had been to the Green Lantern. I was pleasantly surprised that it was in much better shape and cleaner then the last time I was there. The service was excellent at 6:10am. Good value and taste!

A great small diner experience. The regulars make small talk with the cook as he works his magic. I sat at the counter and fully enjoyed the experience! I will eat there every time I am passing through Toledo, OH. I did not wait long to be seated.

I got a 1/2 sausage 1/2 burger with tots and it was sooooo good prices are great too! I feel like I would have spent the same amount at McDonald’s anyways so might as well come here and get a REAL burger

This is one of the best Toledo has to offer! It’s inexpensive, well portioned meals and has friendly staff serving! The new owners have really accomplished something spectacular with an updated menu and how it’s run! I’ll be back for sure.

Pretty good local greasy spoon. Food is nothing fancy, a little bland, but solid made to order plates. Napkin and straw cover were a little dirty, general look inside was older, a little beat up, but not gross. Five stars is definitely a reach in my opinion if rating the food, but I’m guessing people like the affordability and ‘local’ feel. Hard working crew is appreciated

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed a pick up order and my fries were left out of the bag I called back and spoke with someone and they were just going to let me come pick them up then someone else called back and said they were placed in the bag so I double checked (I only order a cheese burger fries and a chili cheese fry.), I let them know while on the phone they weren’t there and the burger wasn’t even made correctly and she then claimed the burger was made right and the fries are in the bag. This is why you can’t even support family restaurant they are so money hungry and rude when THEY mess up the food, first time ordering and definitely will be the last. Not to mention the messy bathrooms and dirty kitchen. Good job to the head that has no customer service.
