I ate here at lunchtime. They offer a simple lunch menu consisting mainly of sandwiches, burgers, & fried chicken. Seating is available at the bar, at tall tables, or regular tables. It’s large enough for groups of 12 or more if a few tables are pushed together. I had the fried chicken strips with French fries & I added coleslaw along with a tea to drink. The coleslaw was excellent, not too sweet, not too tangy. The chicken & fries were served so hot that I needed to let them cool before I could eat them. I like it served that way. The waitress was friendly & “on the ball.” We were watching the Iowa-Michigan game on TV. Overall, a very good experience.

I thought it was a great restaurant. I enjoyed the prime rib. I’m guessing the rib eye would be even better. You have the option of enjoying a quiet meal in the restaurant or a more festive meal in the bar.

Ordered Prime Rib end cut . They didn’t have one so just gave me a piece soaking in juice. Could have told me they didn’t have what I ordered and ask me what else I would like. The piece I received tasted like meat boiled in water. Salad bar was good. Fried chicken was good but the spaghetti was not.
