We’re your local mom & pop pizza place serving our made-to-order food in South Lake County Florida since 2013! Starting our business in the Green Mountain area of Montverde (Mont for Mountain and verde for green), we moved to Clermont in 2019 with a take-out spot and just opened our new dining room.
We’re known for making the best slice in Clermont, but people also come for our hot subs made on our homemade bread (like our steak, cheese, and onion!), our calzones & strombolis, specialty pies, gelato, homemade tiramisu, coffee drinks in our state-of-the-art espresso machine, and so much more!
We’re located on Highway 50 in old Clermont in Sunnyside Plaza (West on 50 past the Winn Dixie plaza on the left, before East Street).

Green mountain pizza is awesome. The garlic cheesy bread is a must. The pizza pictured is the deluxe. It’s loaded with toppings and ever so delicious. The breakfast pizza is as good as I’ve ever had anywhere. The affagato is insanely good. The blue moon draft is served with an orange slice. There really are no complaints at all. This is a frequent hang out for us.

I’ve never actually had pizza or Italian food at Green Mountain Pizza in Clermont. I have stopped by 8 to 10 times for the large and very tasty cheeseburger. From the first few years in Montverde (where the name comes from) to the California old-school split level plaza on SR 50 west of 27 where they are now located. Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. The pizza slices were decent in size and not too expensive. I also bought bread sticks which was very undersold, more like mini loaves. Those were nice and hot with a side of marinara sauce.

Fantastic pizza! I hadn’t planned on stopping, but it caught my eye as I drove by and thought I would give it a try. The owner took my order. He is a really good dude. He was very helpful and assisted me in navigating the pretty extensive menu. The highlight of the pizza was definitely the sauce. So good! The restaurant was extremely clean. My only disappointment is that I live many hundreds of miles away, and will likely never be back through here again, so I will likely never be able to try the sandwiches or wings. Thanks for a great lunch. Highly recommended!

Green Mountain is the best pizza spot within 15 miles of Clermont, if not in all Orlando. All of their food is made to order and fresh and hot and overwhelmingly delicious! I normally get their Green Mountain Calzone and I’ve never had a Calzone this good. I travel to all the major cities in the US and love a good pizza, and I am so thankful to have GM this close to me. Do not miss out on this spot! Other pizza spots are good, but no one tops the pizza and Calzones from Green Mountain.

Slices of pizza are nice & BIG! Happy hour is fantastic. Treated myself to an Italian Sub with everything on it and it was fresh and delicious with one of the softest breads I’ve found in Clermont. Outstanding job. Excited to bring my family here to try out the rest of the menu!
