I remember picking up lunch from here during Covid and enjoying my meal. Today, I dined in and it exceeded all expectations. My mom said she was craving something salty and suggested pad see ew. I usually want pad thai but it’s not too often my mom will request something so fast, because she usually opts out for whatever I want lol. I realized this and said let’s get the beef pad see ew. Sometimes when we order this at places, there’s random clumps of noodles that I don’t enjoy. The noodles here at Green Papaya were all separated and had layers of flavor. The peanut sauce dressing for the salad was perfect. The satay was prepped well and the fried rice + egg roll tasted above average. The service was friendly and got us everything we asked for. I plan on dine in soon when I’m craving some thai. It is a cozy spot and has the ambiance of a classic Asian restaurant.

100% this is the best Thai restaurant in Eagle Rock and Highland Park. The food here SLAPS. We got the Panang Curry with Steamed White Rice and the Spicy Basil Noodle. Both were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend giving this local, family owned and operated restaurant a try. I will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu.

Saturday @6:05pm..sign on the door saying we’re on break and will return @4:30pm. It’s now 6:57pm and no sign of anyone. Sux because I wasted $4.50 at the boba place next door that I didn’t have to (I needed to use their restroom and bought a drink so as not to be viewed as a freeloader). Then this Thai place isn’t open on a weekend where there’re supposed to be open until 9pm. GrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRR

Local Thai spot with nice staff working here. Thankful to see some new places come up during these bleak times of covid. We got the pad see ew and it was some of the best I’ve had. I liked that it was flavorful without being a lot of noodles. Portion size was good. Definitely will try more dishes here

Ordered via Grubhub. They had a picture of classic Thia BBQ chicken, what I got was dried out strips with some watery sweet and sour sauce. I ordered a Thai tea, got a Thai coffee. Food is terrible.

Whether ordered as a take out or placed via Uber Eats, this place prepares the food as expected. Great service and always delicious Thai food. My all time fave is crab fried rice and shrimp cake. Everything is very tasty and not ‘cheated’ with additives. It’s tricky with parking in front. But I believe they have an alley parking available in the back. Highly recommended!

Hi there! I hope the restaurant reads this to help them improve their food. We order two specials, one chicken and one beef. Our number one concern is that both of the proteins were extremely sweet. The beef was also very salty and had quite a leathery texture to it. One way that both dishes can be improved would be to make both of these dishes less sweet. However, the easiest way to improve the meal would be to not use tap water for the fried rice… just my 2 cents.
