For a state park, they serve high quality food in a decent environment with friendly staff. Their vegetarian pasta is one of the best pasta dishes I have had in a long time and the BLT wedge salad with home made Bleu cheese dressing is a meal all its own.

Half the food was decent and half I wouldn’t consider grabbing from the buffet again. If you’re at the park it isn’t that bad of an option. Plus the price isn’t as expensive as people are making it out to be.

Ate here for dinner after an amazing tour of the cave. Food was ok and service was pretty good. We spent about $50 (including tip) for two people. For this we get a hamburger that came with mayonnaise mustard and ketchup in little packets. Salads with cheese and a packet of dressing only. The decor has a cafeteria feel to it and a wonderful view of the parking lot. But, it is really close to where we camped and is a quick easy walk if you want some food after crawling around in a cave for a few hours.

If it qualifies as “hotel food”, then it’s the best I’ve had. That’s not saying much, but I’d go again if I return to the cave. I think I remember their takeout boxes being paper instead of single-use plastics. Problem is I imagine the foot traffic being bottlenecked by the bridge and hallway that leads you in. Not sure if they have a parking lot around there; it’s quite a distance from where I was parked. It was honestly too out-of-sight for customers to even figure out they had a restaurant.

Some would say this place is too expensive but compared to eating at a Texas Road House and feeding a family of 4 its NOT. Its clean, convenient, and has a super friendly staff.

I don’t know where these one star rating people ate, but we had a delicious dinner here. We ordered the fried chicken, fried catfish, and pulled pork bbq and all three were delicious. The baked beans and cole slaw sides were also very good. Service was very friendly and attentive. No complaints whatsoever.

Maybe it was an off night but Sunday night all they offered was a buffet. My fried chicken was so dry and tough the gravy couldn’t save it. Everything from the hot selections were barely lukewarm and the soup. Service was great it wasn’t their fault what goes on in the kitchen. The salad was the best item along with a biscuit. 70.00 for 4 and couldn’t eat the food.

My wife and I ate here while staying at the National Park and touring the cave. Debbie was our server and met our every need and assisted us in making menu choices that were just perfect. We had the fried chicken and catfish. Fantastic meals including the presentation of the plates. It was obvious care was taken by Penny, Angel and Luke in the kitchen to prepare our meals and place them on the plates. Our meals looked as good as they tasted! We watched other beautifully prepared meals being delivered to other tables as well. This restaurant has a caring and skilled kitchen staff…its obvious! Will eat here again when in the area!!

Wow! We were very pleasantly surprised considering other reviews posted here. The food was delicious. Had the mammoth veggie plate. It was full of flavor and variety – which was appreciated as often restaurants just have a “token vegetarian meal” planted on the menu that has little inspiration to it. Also had the fried chicken which was super crispy with super savory mashed potatoes. We had several wait staff attend to us and never wanted for anything. Our main server was Debbie who was very kind and thoughtful – even gave us recommendations on how to reheat our leftovers for best results. Would definitely return here.
