I just wanted to have lunch and the place down the street was packed, so I walked in and got seated immediately, I ordered a burger and coffee, and appreciated the choice of a cup of soup instead of the usual french fries. Quiet…I guess they do a lot more business for breakfast, but in this case it was just what I needed.

We had lunch at the Cafe. I would only consider this a breakfast restaurant. All 3 of us ordered sandwiches and the portions are skimpy, nothing spectacular about the food. It was very plain and not very flavorful. We ordered a BLT, beef sandwich and a club sandwich. I wouldn’t go back.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We waited 15 minutes to be seated (Okay. I understand that happens). The hostess pointed us to a booth (didn’t actually take us there), didn’t give us menus or silverware. Finally our waitress took our drink order. That took forever. After half an hour we asked our waitress if our food was coming (after seeing many people who came in after us get theirs). She said it would be another 15 minutes. It took 25 minutes to get our food. The service and food used to be so good, but now we won’t be back.

Staff very friendly and owners were out greating all their patrons. We had a big group and we placed our order pretty quickly, food came out in a timely manner. I preferred the ribeye Breakfast plate and it was yummy. Coffee was nice and strong just how ai like it. The steak was tender and had great seasoning. Was my first time there and definitely not my last.
