Have you ever been to a bar in Houston where they served authentic Thai food?! Holy cow! This place was awesome! I used to go here when I lived in Stafford, it was run down and dingy. The new owners really turned this place around. I think they’re supposed to change the name to Straight Out of Bangkok soon. We stopped by here after work and had an amazing time. Drinks kept flowing and food was great. On Thursday’s they have wing specials for $.50! And man were they plump and juicy. On Fridays, the Mexican beer specials were only $2! Dude that’s a steal! And the fact that I can get thai food and a burger with tots for only $8?! Yeah talk about the best neighborhood dive bar ever! 🙂 definitely a go to place for me and the boys.

Monday Aug. 14, I was short changed again by the bartender. This marks the third time in less than a year. I go there every time I’m in town. I’m a cash guy and I KNOW my prices there. I ordered a miller light, gave the waitress a $20 bill and she gave me $15 in change. I ask where my other dollar was, she fumbled for a while and finally told the tall girl and she gave me my other dollar stating the beers are $4.06 and they have no change. THATS NOT MY ISSUE. I always give the dollar back as a tip, that’s a 25% tip, but not tonight because she was very rude popping off saying WE don’t need your dollar so I took my business down the road to Boogies! Now I did not want to post this. I PM the owner about the issue and he/she has provided NO RESPONSE as to councilling the staff about this reoccurring issue. Maybe the owner condones it? I HOPE NOT.

Went by myself on a Sunday and watched some NBA playoffs. They had a BBQ pit outside and a DJ playing 90s hip-hop! My kind of place so far. I heard this place had homemade Thai food, and boy did they not disappoint! One of the best authentic Pad Thais I think I ever had in my life. So flavorful and good. Had a couple Johnny Walkers to wash it all down. Also, best wings in town, fresh wings, good flavors, extremely well fried (no batter, good oils).

I would like to say I love this place.the servers are great! The service is great! Food great! I would rate it a 5 star but unfortunately though out our experience multiple times the manager (Glasses short black hair) was harassing our table on multiple occasions asking us personal questions while we were enjoying the fight on the tv and was ordering food. Overall the experience was great but she makes us feel uncomfortable and we would like to come back but don’t know because of the manger.
