Service, great. Atmosphere, great. Food, not so much. My party of 3 had bluegill & and cod, all of which seemed like the crust had sweated. It was not crisp & crunchy. Potato pancakes were fair. The potato salad was ok, the slaw was not good… had way too much onion- overpowering the slaw. The bread was great. French onion soup & mozzarella sticks were the star of our meal, which is the reason for 3-stars on the food. Sweet old fashion was good.

I read the reviews and I thought perhaps they were just a bad day. NOPE. The review said the clams were burnt. About 25% were cooked right. But the other 75%: They are still burnt! Dark brown, rock hard. I bought TWO orders. I asked for tartar sauce and I had it but the lids were not on the containers! It spilled all over the inside. The room was dark and smell of a old hotel. Im glad I carried out. I was disappointed. My first and last visit.

Stopped in for fish tonight after our walk around town. How can a fish-fry type place get themselves out of bread? 2nd time this has happened to us here. Food just okay, nothing special. 2 fairly small pieces of fish, and 3-2″x 3″ potato pancakes. Salads are good. Waiter brought back wrong change, – in their favor. Warm day in July, not much for AC.

Excellent spot to eat! It’s reasonably priced and the food is great. You will defiantly leave satisfied. The portions are large. I had the fried chicken (half a chicken) and it was super moist and tender. Cooked to perfection!

We had a grouper fish fry, it was fabulous! We asked for cajun seasoning, and they complied even though it was not on the menu. The service was great. The owner came by to talk to us when we had a question about an ingredient. It was a very fun overall experience.

Came here for a Packer-Sunday. Long bar, with a huge room off to the side. The bloodies were spicy / well done, and so was the breakfast. We ordered on paper menus, and it was no-frills awesome. The bartender was also our waitress, was positive, accommodating during the game, and hustled her tail off. We had an omelet, eggs/prime rib combo, and well – plenty of drinks. Not necessarily the most COVID – friendly, as the bar is long /narrow, and a lot of people at the bar enjoying their libations with out much space between them. Still a good spot to chill.

Bar tender was less then personable, food even less impressive, fryer oil needs to be changed. Fish was sub par and the charbroil steak even worse, veggies no seasoning or butter.. Everything lacked in flavor and the grill marks is all you can taste. Two beers one cocktail and two dinners for 58 dollars. I could’ve stayed home and had a better time. First and last time I’ll be going here.

Soda was flat, prime rib sandwich with au jus was disgusting, rubbery and chewy. Wife’s patty melt was came out undercooked. Mozzarella sticks were ok. I wouldn’t recommend
