We had a group of 3 people and sat out on the deck, looking at the golf course and the stunning mountain views. You can’t beat that outdoor patio dining area with those views.

One of the great little corners of Vail that delivers a relaxed enjoyable experience with panoramic views and reasonably priced lunch. Homemade soup buffet with all the fixings whilst looking out the the snow capped Gore Range. Whether you are coming off the Nordic trails or just wanting to enjoy a good meal I highly recommend Grill on the Gore.

Best view in town…almost don’t want to leave a review because it’s such a nice atmosphere to escape the crazy village. Soup options are really good…very cozy vibe.

Random stop not wanting to go into the village. $12 bottomless soup bar. Sounds bland? It’s not. It was fantastic. Homemade from scratch chili and soups. Handmade rolls and corn bread. Toppings etc. absolutely thrilled . Great view and service.

My family stopped in for dinner and the customer service was absolutely terrible!!! From the moment we sat down on the patio, which was NOT busy, the waiter was very short and rude with us. We had to wave him over to get our drink order in and waited a VERY long time to receive our drinks. We actually received our food before our drinks, which we ordered our food 5 minutes after our drinks. The waiter dropped off our drinks and ran off before we could even tell him we needed ketchup. We tried to order a 2nd drink and once again couldn’t find the waiter. The manager, who was literally one table over, was of no help and thought talking to a couple for 20+ minutes was more important than helping or checking in on customers. She kept talking about weddings and personal stuff and come to find out the gentleman was an employee at the golf course. We tried to get her attention, but she had no interest. Finally, the waiter came out and dropped off our check and my husband asked for another beer and the waiter said we are closing. There were still 2 other tables eating, which we mentioned, so he said ok in a rude tone. Once again, we were waiting on the waiter to deliver the beer, which we could see that it was poured and on the bar. However, the waiter was too busy cleaning up as he obviously just wanted to get out of there. I called over the manager, who was still talking to the couple, and she said he will bring it when he gets a moment. Are you kidding me?? Got the beer, paid our tab and will NEVER be back!!!! The food was NOT good and was VERY expensive for what you get…Very disappointing especially when you own a place in East Vail and the food options are limited to begin with.

I’m totally selfish and don’t want to share this but Grill on the Gore is the best secret in the valley. Great food, great service, great views. But you should probably try somewhere else.
