Rural roadhouse with good food. Steak special was T-bone. Expertly cooked to desired temperature. All people in my party were happy with price and quality. Give this place a shot.

The food was fabulous. You have to try the duck tenders. Unbelievably good. Had the equator burger cooked medium. Had cream cheese and bbq sauce. I loved it. My wife had the French dip and said it was awesome. We split a bowl of chili and it was good also. Would definitely return. You won’t be disappointed.

We’ve driven by this restaurant for I don’t know how many years and finally stopped in for lunch. Very happy to see a simple yet complete menu to choose from. We had sandwiches, of which the chicken salad croissant was fabulous. I had a northern club (because I judge new restaurants on their club sandwich, a both complex yet simple fare). I ate it all. I also recommend their duck strip appetizer- very tasty and different than the usual chicken version.

My boyfriend and I shared a meal with his grandparents the other evening while celebrating my birthday. Yummy! We came back the next day and brought our friends along for lunch. Will come back once we visit Bear Lake again.

Mother’s day dinner. My wife had steak and lobster. The steak was raw. Woody Harrelson in The Cowboy Way raw. I had fish and chips (pub cod). Fillets were from frozen and deep fried. The flavor was good but the fish had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I’ve been coming here since they opened and this was the worst I’ve had. And no more portobello fries. They were my favorite.

I had the advertised special on the sign by the road today, Pot Roast. The meal was so big I had to tske 1/2 home in a box. The pot roast’s gravy was perfectly portioned, enough for the potatoes and meat. If anything, the gravy was a tad bit salty, for me, however, when paired with the meat and/or potatoes the saltiness was no longer an item. I definitely would like yo come back and try their broasted chicken. I hope you try it Grille 44. Our waitress was great!

Hubby & I stopped in for an early dinner today. We had a very nice waitress & ordered a pizza. The crust was perfect & our toppings, pepperoni, ham, & bacon, were all fresh. I also loved that they carry Sprechers rootbeer by the keg there! It’s made in Wisconsin & is delicious. We watched the Detroit Tigers play & we’re so glad we’d chosen Grille 44 today.

My girlfriend and I fequent regularly but possibly no longer. I understand a “home-y” feel but when a local is at the bar repeatedly saying things about people of color and the n-word, there’s an issue. Why it was allowed to continue after 20 mins, unsure. Don’t be fooled, service is great and so is the food! But the patrons may be off-putting to those who aren’t 50 and of Caucasian decent.

Food was mediocre and took over 45 minutes to come out to us. Not sure why our server told us sorry for the wait, but your food should be right out, then after 10 minutes it came out warm and fries were cold.
