It took us maybe 10 minutes to make a run for it. The place was completely empty on a Saturday night… so that was our first clue. The tables were grimy and sticky, and we just couldn’t imagine what the food would be like. This, coupled with the fact that our hotel room had a busted AC unit definitely sent us packing. We were looking forward to a local getaway for my 55th birthday, but this wasn’t it. We drove home and stayed in our own bed.

Chips for the chips and salsa were not only stale but also were served with the cooks hair in them. . The steak fajitas were so tough I could have used them as tow straps. Then we waited for over 30 minutes for the waiter to even check to see if we were done and bring the check. Save you money for the Dairy Queen up the street.

First time eating here on 04/16/22. The food was great! Half off appetizers every day from 4 to 6. The service was mediocre at best. Our server seemed like he is new at customer service or was not trained very well.

Enjoyed our meal. I had Chile Relleno and husband tortillas soup. A few margaritas. End of stay enjoyed Calamari and more drinks while we enjoyed sunset. The calamari was great. Service was good and they put outside heater on so we really enjoyed deck.

Delicious food, great service, and scenic views. I understand there’s a new chef, so I can’t speak to the changes before and after. I just know it’s more than I expected from a hotel resturant. Servers visited frequently, helpful with the menu for a first time visit, and helpful with tips for the area overall. Local and macro beer on tap, but not a huge selection as the focus is tequila. I had an amazing Kah tequila on the rocks, totally smooth and velvety. We split a juicy burger, (which was split!) tacos, and guac, all delicious and in heaping servings. Would highly suggest to fellow travelers!

Great staff! Enjoyed our time this evening. Happy hour prices and quality of food and drinks are beyond reasonable and totally worth it! The view from inside is fantastic, and even better out on the terrace! You can see downtown as well as all of the stunning Catalina mountain range. This place is truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

I ordered through door dash on whim and holy moly. This play is yummy. The mini chimis are amazing and I love that they offer a bean and cheese one for the vegetarian peeps out there. Husband got the chicken quesadilla and beer battered fish tacos! So good. Would love to go in person because the pictures online look gorgeous. Oh and the flan is to die for…..even melty.

I wish I could put zero stars, if you feel like being ignored for 25 minutes and getting menus thrown at you this is the place to go,we didn’t even get to taste the food or alcohol. Don’t waste your time coming here and stay on the road. And go to. Taco del rancho a couple blocks away
