Great vibes. We loved the outdoor area. Now full disclosure I had surgery and couldn’t eat so I’m going off of what the fam told me. They loved the tacos and the guacamole. When you’re not eating, you tend to notice other details (to distract yourself from being sad about not eating). I thought their chips and salsa that they brought out was a nice touch. The chips are thicker and not just the usual Tostitos look. The guacamole looked chunky and fresh and same goes for the pico. The only mark down is the price, but you know if you’re treating yourself every once in a while I can reason it out.

The food and service at the place is amazing. However, I was surprised that I didn’t get the rice and beans with my fajita order as all the other places offer that. I should have asked about it but it slipped my mind. However, everything else was great. Definitely recommend this place.

This is my 3rd visit over the years. Every time I pass by this restaurant from 270 I remember the excellent taste of the food here. I usually order the tacos which are a great value for money and are quite filling.

This place is never a disappointment. I’ve been here on multiple occasions. I went here on a Monday night and the restaurant was empty. The service and food was top notch great. Side note: parking can be a pain (especially during the summer) luckily there’s a parking garage. Also, it gets really cold and windy so prepare of a gust of

The tacos are great and two were more than enough to fill me up. Two cocktails had me feeling great.

I was recommended this place for good Mexican food. The parking was really easy with an elevator entrance right around the corner. We got there around 5pm, the restaurant was pretty dimly lit already. They turned the lighting even further down part was through the meal. The place looked more bar than restaurant. We were seated in a corner at a split table(two 2 person tables put together). The tables weren’t level or even to each other. I’m not sure if it was from being in a corner with two hard walls (one brick, the other wooden mural)) but the room was loud. I could barley hear across the table. On my sound meter it averaged 81 decibels. I was surprised at the limited menu. One side was drinks the other page of the laminated paper menu was the menu. I wanted a chicken burrito. Surprisingly, that was not an option. I ended up with a chicken chimichanga, my wife carne asada tacos. I also ordered hand cut fries, and two items from the happy hour menu. Mexican meatballs and chicken sopas. We quickly noted there was little flavor to anything and the skill to cook or prepare any of it was basic at best. I could have cooked any of the meal at the same or better quality at home. Usually, one goes to a restaurant to enjoy a higher level of food than you make in your home daily. This was not the case. The carne asada was bland and tough. What I mistook for flavoring was my wife putting lime on it. My chimichanga was just a boiled shredded chicken with onion. Even the sauce on top was bland and basic. I was surprised by everything being garnished with parsley. The meatballs had no flavor. The flavor came solely from the green sauce they were sitting in that seemed off the shelf. They didn’t even absorb into the meat. Hand cut fries must mean uneven cuts. They were over cooked and lacked proper salt. My wife ordered a jarrito. It came in a plastic bottle. There was no offer of a glass or straw or anything, just handed a bottle like it was 7-Eleven. Over all the food was mediocre at best. As a bar this place is probably fine, but as a restaurant I would not recommend.

We just had dinner here this evening, and my goodness, as usual this restaurant hit a home run! Tonight they had octopus tacos and they were absolutely incredible. These alone are worth coming back for. However, what made this culinary experience even better was their new server, Andre (Dre). We have been here multiple times and have had great service, but Dre knocked it out of the park this evening. We are going to be coming back not just for the food in the near future, but to see Dre again. He made this meal incredible!

Josh was hands down the best server! He would 100% be the reason why I return. He knew everything about the menu, each dish, each deal, & the specifics of every taste. I’m not from VA but that type of service deserves another visit! Hope he sees this. Thanks boss!

Place has good drinks and the atmosphere is relaxed but fun. Their outdoor seating is nice too especially on warmer days. The food however is lackluster for a Mexican restaurant. Limited options. Only a few appetizers are great like their duck nachos.

Being at Park Potomac, the environment of the restaurant is great. I really liked the drawings on the walls. Servers are friendly, although we had to wait a little bit to have our order taken. I really wanted to give a better star rating, but to restaurants, I think food is more important. Frankly speaking, there is nothing memorable about everything we tried starting from the salsa. I wouldn’t say the food is bad, but really bland. I hope the food tastes better then we’ll sure to visit often.
