Amazing, wonderful and all the best words to describe this special place. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and kindness of the hosts, the charm of the restaurant (can’t believe it’s been around for so long, it’s a gem I hope it stays around forever) and the delicious food. Steak was excellent, tender and perfectly cooked. Burger was perfect, cheese melted on the patty, fresh condiments on the side and is everything you would want in a burger. This place is a must go. Best wishes to the amazing family that runs this place, thank you for running this gem where people over the world can come and experience good food and kind hosts.

Proprietors opened this small roadside pizza place some 46 years ago. Doesn’t look like much, but I am so glad we stopped. pizza had homemade crust and sauce and was very tasty. Loved hearing their stories of raising their family in the middle of nowhere. they serve burgers and sandwiches also. definitely a place we will return.

It was a bad experience to end a rough travel day. The only restaurant open that wasn’t a posh Princess tourist trap. The main detail that matters is our pizza was still raw. It might have been good if it were cooked properly. I saw the cook pull out the pizza, and the lady in charge shrug and say “send it out anyway.” The reviews were misleading by far. 🙁

We stopped for a quick pizza for dinner, little did we know we were going to have the most memorable time of our trip. Billy’s pizza was amazing, pizza crust was just too good. Marianne kept us entertained the entire time with her life experiences in Alaska. While we were enjoying our pizza, Billy brought out his guitar and gave us amazing performance. We did fell in love with the place & people. Thank you Billy & Marianne for wonderful time, hope to see you again in our next trip.

Great stop in the far reaches when we needed. Good pizza and friendly proprietors in very intriguing setting. Loved the open air indoor seating and fireside outdoor pit, but bring mosquito repellent for either.
