We came for dinner here and had an amazing time. Our waitress was attentive and personable. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I shared a Junior pizza with my spouse and we added some extra toppings to make it a meat lovers. That was plenty of food, along with a basket of fries to share, for the two of us. The kid ordered off the kids menu and the portion was more than enough for their almost teenage appetite. The atmosphere was great for the whole family. Sitting upstairs we had a great view of the beach. I would definitely suggest grabbing a bite here whether it’s upstairs or at the window downstairs. You won’t be disappointed.

We go here every year and always have a really nice time. My dad introduced my husband to this restaurant, and we really enjoy coming to any grotto pizza location. This is a staple for r vacation every year and will continue to be. We had very good service, and the food was delicious. The prices are very reasonable so if you are looking for a cheap meal for a bunch of people, then I definitely recommend it. They have lots of other options besides just pizza. If you are interested in something else. They have a kid’s menu also that is very affordable. I would definitely recommend checking them out when in vacation.

This is a great location with an upper patio, open air environment, and full bar. You can enjoy your meal while overlooking the beach and boardwalk. The service is always great and the bruschetta is made fresh daily. It is great on a hot day with a side of fries! One of my favorite lunches at the beach. Keep up the great work!

The pizza was outstanding, the crust was thin and crispy on our Pepperoni and the Bianco Veggie. The service was quick and we had no problems. The view of the ocean at this location was amazing. My only complaint was with the Veggie Pizza witch wasn’t as good as I would have wanted.

Slice was tasty. While the crust and sauce didn’t add a ton of flavor, the fact it wasn’t doughy was great. For 6.99 that comes with a drink, solid quick choice if you’re in the area.

The pizza was pretty decent, especially for the good prices. It was my first time trying pizza from Delaware. I still prefer The Dough Roller though. The service at Grottos was okay, but we wouldn’t see our waiter for long periods of time (more than 15 minutes). I think the fastest service was being seated and getting the check, but we’re on the boardwalk. So, of course service is going to be a little delayed depending on how many tables they have to take care of. The bathrooms were very dirty (wet sand smeared all over the floor, full trash, and dirty toilet seats and counters). I think it was from the people coming in and basically bathing in the sink. I wasn’t going to use the bathroom here, but it was taking so long and being pregnant, I couldn’t really hold it. So, that was one of the reasons I gave 3 stars instead of 5 other than barely seeing or waiter. The wings were pretty good too. It was only $19 per pizza and it was very hot so it tasted pretty good. I love the crispy thin crust too.

Me and my two sons just stopped to get a pizza. We are staying at the Commander Motel and it is directly under our room. After being seated and given menus by the hostess we sat there for over 20 minutes without a waitress or anyone coming over to our table. I understand if they are under staffed but tell the customer, don’t just leave them sitting there. You would be smart to go find somewhere else to eat.
