It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Groucho’s and it lived up to what I remembered. It was absolutely delicious! And definitely get the chocolate chip cookies and brownies And Katelyn at the Lexington location is the best! She was very courteous and helpful with suggestions.

Amazing hot sandwiches every time. Definitely a Columbia staple and if you come to this location during lunch on the weekend you better have some spare time to wait. It is always packed out and their parking can fill up. But it’s worth the wait.

Sat at the restaurant for over 15 minutes until we finally got our order taken. Fast forward 1 hr we still had not received food and when we finally asked we were told they were still working on it. Order was two BLT sandwiches and two turkey sandwiches. We got our ticket in less than 3 minutes and still had to wait 15 more minutes for our order since we asked them to make it to go. So in total 1 hr and 30 minutes for a to go order.

Same as it always was back in the salad days of my youth and the old school Five Points shop with cranky Ivan and a steady rotation of co-eds. Thus was and still is my triple play go-to sandwich, with that signature dipping sauce, tucked under a blanket of melted cheese. Oh, and it’s got to be the sweetest tea around.

The food was good, the service OK, but the men’s restroom smelled like a Porta-John. It had paper towels strewn around that could easily be swept up but the floor, walls and sink hadn’t seen cleanser or a scrub brush in a year. I hope the kitchen is kept cleaner.

My first time at Groucho’s, and I liked my food – I got a lightened-up “white moose” (turkey & swiss) that came with a pickle and pretzels. But it seemed to take forever. I walked in to get an order to go and I think the kitchen was backed up with tons of called-ahead orders. It’s a fun, casual place with a big dining room, but overall, I just wasn’t that impressed.

I placed an order for curbside pick up. Got there and called and my food was ready before the time they said which was great as I had 3 grouchy toddlers in the car. There’s wasn’t a designated spot to park for curbside that I saw so the guy that answered told me to pull the the stairs and he’d be out with my food in a second. Pulled up he was waiting for me I’m the parking lot. Super nice guy. The food was so good and really fresh!
