My first visit to Groucho’s was overall a pleasant experience. A little confusing initially with where to order/sit for dining in, but once I placed my order at the counter everything went smoothly. Really good club on sub roll stacked ridiculously high. Coleslaw was unique and delicious. Great customer service, very friendly staff. The restaurant itself was a little worn and the tables could use to be wiped down, but overall a good experience. Pricy for a sub, but then again it’s a lot of food per serving and the location is in the heart of downtown so it’s to be expected. Would recommend.

Great Groucho’s location. It’s never supper packed when I happen to go so the service is always too tier. Drinks are never empty and the food is always good. Always love stopping in for a hot lunch sub when I am in the area. But I do still have a special place in my heart for Andy’s Deli in Columbia, SC.

Ordered to-go over the phone for lunch during a weekday. On the phone I was told 10-15min and the food would be ready. However, when I arrived 25mins after ordering the food was not ready for pick-up. I had to wait about 5mins at the restaurant for my order to be ready. The extra sauce was not in the bag when I checked the order before leaving. The ladies working the counter quickly fixed the issue and I paid with little difficulty. Food tasted great! Indoor seating only at this location.

The waitress acted like she didn’t want to be there, or know how to waitress. She never asked if we wanted refills, we had to ask, and she took two glasses at a time. She brought back sweet tea instead of Dr. Pepper. We had to go and ask for the right drink. The chicken salad wasn’t good, we ordered brownies, waited 30 minutes, then had to go and ask for them. Then she acted as if she didn’t remember that we had asked for them. Then after 5 or 10 minutes she comes to the table and asked if she can help us. We told her we ordered dessert, and she said what would you like.. We finally said nothing we were through. We wanted to talk to mgr. the mgr never came to speak with us, so we went to the front to complain again, the man running the register gave us a partial discount, but didn’t say I’m sorry, or anything. We explained everything to him, he still didn’t say we’re sorry or anything,. He said he would take half off the Bill. It was around 70.00. We had to pay 20.00. They both acted dumb, and could care less. Bad food, bad waitressing, bad mgr. we won’t be back, it wasn’t worth it, and we had to pay 20.00 just to park

I order from their website for delivery regularly. They get my order correct, delivered on time and I can order it before they open and choose the by one I want it. Love that feature and some of the delivery apps will only let you place an order after they open- which is a problem id you have an early lunch.
