Food was not good and overpriced. The cook didn’t use gloves when she handled the bread to make toast or when handled the money . She never washed her hands before or after handling the food or money and believe me, I watched her very closely the whole time I was there. The pancakes was very nasty, flat, and had a very weird texture and taste.

I been coming down here 30 years the food is the best breakfast in North Carolina and its cash only been that way since she opened this place is better than fast food and waffle house lol she opens from 5:30 am until 11am Wednesday through Saturday only

We have lived in Durham for a couple of years and this is the first place that has made me feel like home. Reminds me of my childhood having breakfast with my papa. The people are so sweet and they’re pretty busy with local. They only serve breakfast and will fix you anything you want.

This place is a very fine down to earth Breakfast place. Every time I visit always excellent service with a smile and this lady the owner in her 80s knows how to cook the best cheese in eggs in town. Grits and hash browns hmm good !
