We were quoted 1 hr when ordering an online pickup order of 4 pizzas totaling over $100. When arriving an hour later, we were then told it would be another 30 minutes. We then sat down and ordered mimosas ($9.50 each) and paid for them. We were then told the restaurant was out of orange juice. We ordered beers that were cheaper and not even offered the refund for the difference. After waiting for a total of 2 hours, we drove back to our cabin to 2.5 burnt pizzas. When calling the restaurant, Cara Stevens – manager, was completely rude. I was told the crusts were golden brown and they would not refund our money unless we drove all the way back didn’t there. No apologies, no customer service. We watched absolute chaos while waiting for our food and they were not busy, most tables were empty!!!!! We will not be back. Total disappoint in service and product!

The place was moderately busy on a Friday evening. First sign of trouble was that you order up front and then pick a table. We were told our pizza would be 45 minutes… hoping that would not be the case we stayed. We very much enjoyed the very fresh and tasty, if a bit limited, salad bar offering and waited…. The time estimate proved accurate. The Payette Lake Supreme pizza was fantastic! Just the less than fantastic and inattentive wait staff that left a bit of an aftertaste…

We’ve done our best to give Growler’s our local business, especially on Mondays. Called in, hold for 5 minutes, then disconnected. Got the order of a small veggie pizza and medium pepperoni pizza called in. I was surprised at the $65 price. I verified this and the server that took my order was friendly and said, “unfortunately, that’s the cost.” Throughout my order, he said “we’re not very busy.” 30 minutes later, my husband went to pick up the two pizzas and they said it would be another 30 minutes. He sat and chatted and had a beer and then asked about the order as it had been quite some time and they were not busy. At one point, another server told him that they were “really backed up.” End of story is they never put an order in and it was nearing 8:00pm , so we asked to cancel the order. Nobody cared or checked, and apparently “have a nice day” means, ” sorry.”

Stopped in after a day riding the trails in the area. Staff was pleasant and food was outstanding! It took a little bit for the pizza to come out, but well worth the wait! Good salad bar!

The food was great the service was just disgusting! The young lady that helped us hadn’t shower in about a week and keep coughing and putting her hands in her mouth and threw her greasy hair… every time she walked past the trash can she would touch it! Never washing her hands! Was so relieved when the cook brought our food to us!

The first time i ate here it was a Sunday and we placed a to-go order that had a salad bar included. We were told it would be ready in 45 min. We arrived right on time to find out that the salad bar had been put away.

I ordered the Big Growler pizza, the only thing it had going for it was the crust. The toppings tasted as if they became stale from sitting in a freezer too long. Not a fan. Would not recommend. The staff was friendly, and attentive, which is a plus.

Pizza was really good. Service was decent. Sign there says they don’t accept tips but at the register there is a tip jar. The food is really expensive for what you get but at least we have good food most of the time.

For years Growlers in Donnelly has been our “go to” for pizza. The last couple times, and especially tonight, have been a service disaster. We called in for pizza to pick up. We were quoted a 30-40 minute wait. That was at 5:55pm. It’s 7:30pm. I am still sitting in the restaurant, and no pizza. And I am not the only one. It is probably time to find another option as it is apparent this location cannot handle any volume.
