The food was amazing, some of the best bbq I’ve ever tasted: tender meat smoked beautifully and seasoned to perfection. The cake was also delicious, sides were cooked well too and the owner was kind. I’ll definitely be back for more soon. I love supporting black owned businesses!

Great local BBQ place in an outdoor venue. Found while searching for a place to eat while headed to airport. Nice breeze and good temperature when I was there. Might not be as pleasant if rainy or with elevated Texas temperature/humidity, but just get it to go. Big portions.

This is a hidden gem I’m so glad I found. The food is amazing and even though its hot as hades the gentleman on the grill is always in good spirits bumpin the New Orleans blues while you wait. I was even offered a cold drink from the cooler while I waited and grabbed an IPA yes!!! I highly recommend this place I have been there two weekends in a row and oh lord the sides are a whole other talk show

This man was soooo kind. He allowed me to sample the rib. He offered customers a cold drink from the cooler, while they waited. When I received my order, I was surprised by a slice of HEAVEN a.k.a. cake. The ANGELS must’ve made that cake. It was DELICIOUS!!!! The ribs were family reunion ribs that your uncle makes. The dirty rice was also good. BUT THAT CAKE!!!! I will be back!!!

Great service, I had the bbq ribs, brisket and chicken with a side of dirty rice and potato salad…OMG!! great flavor, meat tender and moist.. most definitely will be my to go to spot when I want bbq…only downside CASH ONLY

This man has the BEST BBQ IN HOUSTON!!! The portion sizes are amazing. The food is flavored through and through. I love The entire menu and he has a customer for life!!! If you come get a four meat and all the sides. You won’t regret it been coming to him for years.
