Located just off of Dickson, in the heart of the entertainment district, Grub’s has been a Fayetteville staple for over 15 years. Our fresh, hand-pattied, never frozen, half-pound burgers and signature Fry Dip have a reputation of their own, but it was our admirable school spirit and party-hard-game-day celebrations that gained us national recognition. ESPN’s Rick Reilly let the country know that we really are the “best college bar in America.” It’s true; we have a great place for college kids to hang out, watch the game, and grab a beer. At the same time we maintain a family friendly atmosphere.

Went for dinner on a holiday and it was pretty dead. Our server was lovely and food came out fast. However, the tenders in my wrap were burnt tiny end pieces so it wasn’t good at all.

I’ve lived in Fayetteville for 23 years, and Grubs has been a staple for a majority of that time. I just feel like in the past few years, you can say the food is mediocre, at best. It took an hour to get our food, and they brought out complimentary burned chips and marinara- tasting salsa as an apology. Our kids didn’t even eat that and they love chips and salsa. When our food finally did come, it was cold and mushy, except my husband’s, which was still very hot. So it seemed the other three family members’ food came out, and they had forgotten his sandwich and made it while leaving our food out for a while. Idk if that’s what happened, but it seemed like it. My daughter’s gravy for her chicken fried steak was already thickened and cold. It just wasn’t the same as it was “back in the day”. For $80 for a family of four, it wasn’t at all worth it.

Food was great, half price burgers the day I went. Service was good, but seemed busy. But over all loved it. Plenty of tv’s to watch while you eat

Good service, good food for the price. Was a bit slow for everyone to get their food but to be fair it was a party of 6. The place was slammed after a comedy show at Walton Arts Center as well so I have to adjust my rating for that. Waitress forgot to put in my order of cheese fries but offered to pay for them; I forgave her and told her that was unnecessary.

We had a spontaneous party of 15 people. Our server Michaela(sp?) was amazing and took it all in stride. Good bar food with great drink specials. It’s a college bar with cheap drinks and food.

I haven’t visited this location in a long long long time, especially when Uptown opened up due to local of where I was living. I miss the nostalgia of the building and the atmosphere that comes with it. I’m glad to see that Olivia has transitioned from Uptown to hear plus she remembered both my daughter and me. The food was awesome as usual and it’s always good when you have a good server that cares about her customers instead of the potential money to be made. My kid’s and I may visit this location more often based on their mood in addition to finances.

Good atmosphere, food, and location. The waitstaff are mostly young college girls who spend most of their time near the young college boys in the bar, so the service may be a bit slow at times.

Great bar and Grill in Fayetville. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich ( comes with bacon, pickles, lettuce, onion, and pepper Jack cheese) and fries. Was very tasty.
