So fresh, open, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Mahi mahi sandwich would have been better with a special sauce or other textures, it was simple but still good. I’m a bacon person but the bacon wasn’t great on it. Fried flounder catch of the day – incredible!!! Peel and eat shrimp served cold and were so fresh and tasty!!! Could literally watch dolphins from inside!! This place is a 5 star review. Check it out!!!

The sunset view on the patio was pretty! That’s about the only nice thing I could say about my dinner tonite. Ordered a 6 pc shrimp platter & “famous” hush puppies. Waited 40 minutes. The $1 a piece hush puppy? No. Long John Silvers has better hush puppies. Fries were not fresh. Shrimp was meh. Would I spend $42 for one dinner with no alcohol here again? Also No.

We went for a late lunch/ early dinner and it was very tasty. The food was all very fresh and cooked perfectly. The fish tacos with beans and rice was delicious. Very clean and the staff was happy and helpful. We enjoyed eating out on the patio and watching the big boats float by.

$75 two people great time Bartender was super friendly. Apparently his family is part owner?! this is a great place if you do not want a server and just want to take a number, if you prefer getting served then the bar is your best option get there early? This place is my favorite choice so far on the island.

Very pleasant experience at Grumbles. Speaking with the owners, there are big plans for the restaurant and surrounding areas. Can’t wait for the upstairs dining to open to experience the views while dining. The hushpuppies (bacon and shrimp,and corn stuffed were excellent) were made fresh which I love being they are not frozen. They were out of the ceviche, and looked delicious but will wait for it next time. Had the fried green tomatoes. These were actually my favorite as its hard to find good fried green tomatoes where the batter stays together and doesn’t get soggy(these were done in a corn meal) as well as the tomatoes being fresh, Grumbles met all the requirements for me on them and the accompanying sauce was a perfect match in flavor. We had the shrimp tacos for entrée and they were good as well, the plating of the entrees was spot on and was picture perfect which makes you want a dive in and eat it up, but had to take a photo first of course. Forgot to take one of tomatoes as we devoured them so fast! All around great first time experience and will definetly be back. All servers/employees were inviting and so helpful and checked on us regularly. Kudos to Grumbles and there overall experience, with great atmosphere, good food and great service, which are the 3 things I look for and expect in any dining experience. We are from Houston area and came down to see family for Thanksgiving. So if you live in area and haven’t experienced or visiting like us, add this place as a must try. Did not get a chance to try cocktails as we had kids with us, but will take those in on next visit. 5 stars all around! Keep doing what yall are doing.

Nice option for a variety of meal options. Tuna bowl, peel and eat shrimp, and mahi burger were all very well seasoned and cooked. Piña colada was good, but it’s not as creamy as some. The location is great. Next to Fisherman’s Wharf and the charter docks.

First time here and it was lovely. The service is super friendly, restaurant is clean, patio has a great view of the marina and some fancy boats. We had mahi mahi ceviche, fish tacos, fried oysters, and the tried and true cheeseburger and all were A+. Their menu wasn’t over-fried if that makes sense. The only thing that would make it better is full service but they had everything stocked and easy to access. Prices are up near $20/plate but that’s normal for the island. Great parking, accessible, and kid-friendly! Will definitely visit again.
