We went for Easter dinner, service was very good , food was ok , I had the Seafood Mac , the pasta was very over cooked , the dish was kinda runny , the shrimp were good the scalops were nothing special and kinda overly fishy tasting , it had lobster in it I found 3-4 small pieces If that . We also had the pub burger , the bun wasn’t great , the burger was good it was cooked perfect . We also had the rattlesnake shrimp , it was wry good , I had a Caesar salad it was ok at best ,the dressing was delicious but there wasn’t much of it I only found it at the end at the bottom of the salad. For Dessert we had the lemon raspberry cake . It was good , no complaints there . For drinks we had an original mule I thought it was excellent , we also had an Oswego Sunset Margarita it seemed overly sour for what it was , a glass of white wine which was very good. Overal 4 stars , service was very good . Waitress was attentive , place was clean , I feel for an Easter dinner the music was too loud and fast beat but that’s a monitor complaint . We were satisfied but won’t rush to go back .

My boyfriend and I went to Steamers Saturday night. The hostess and employees were all so very friendly and welcoming. We sat outside for the view of the river and it was gorgeous. I wanted the prime rib but they had run out (I’ll have to go back so I can try it) so I got instead the Steak Oscar and it was the most tender and delicious steak I’ve ever had. My boyfriend enjoyed his strip steak. Our waitress was just so friendly and accommodating as well and she really was the cherry on top of an amazing dinner. Definitely going back!

Visited this restaurant for a small family reunion recently. The food was very good and the service was as well. However, after I finished my meal I looked up and saw that there was a lightbulb directly above my plate that was filthy with dust and cobwebs. I looked around at some of the other bulbs on the ceiling and there were others in similar condition. Note: if you are staying in the adjoining hotel and the hotel gives you a coupon for a free drink at this restaurant, you have to use it before the waitress presents you with the bill. In other words, if you were hoping to have a drink AFTER your meal, you are out of luck. Even though we had just spent $170 and given the waitress a 40% tip, she was unhelpful when we asked about ordering our free drink. I believe the coupon said something like “free drink with the purchase of a meal” or something similar. We HAD purchased a meal. But they said it didn’t count. We were then told that we could buy more food and then it would be free. But here’s the catch…the kitchen had just closed and our coupon was only good for another 2 hours.

After arriving at 6:15 and being seated immediately, we waited almost 15 minutes to order drinks. Food arrived almost exactly one hour later. Burger was raw and bloody. We were told they had a new chef, who doesn’t know what medium is apparently. Was offered to either throw back on grill or “microwave” waitress had a huge attitude! Not sure if it was us or the chef. Needless to say we sent both burgers back and did not eat. Will not be going back. I’m not sure why so many good reviews but the food was horrible for a 19 dollar burger.

Atmosphere is GREAT! Right on Oswego River, so you have a beautiful view of outdoor dining! Our server was absolutely amazing and the food to match! The steamers were exceptional, as you’d expect. The Mules were delicious beverages. And the Prime Rib was so reasonably priced and SO good! Would definitely come back!

Atmosphere is nice, drinks are good. Wait time, food, service overall is not so good. 35 minutes for appetizers (i forgot what I ordered). View is great, just don’t come here hungry.

We went there for late afternoon drinks and we had a little bite to eat. I ordered the clams the steamers they sent out dozen clams very dry no sauce on the bottom and the drinks were OK nothing special they forgot to put my steamers in. They send me a Caesar salad had to wait another 15 minutes for the steamers to arrive.

Pretty good experience overall. Great seating area/view, very tasty food, friendly waitress with good knowledge of menu. Only “not so good” thing was the wait for our meal, as it took quite a long time. (Kitchen I assume, not waitress) But overall the ambiance, meal, service all made for quite a nice dining experience for myself and my (Oswego Laker) daughter. Thanks for a very nice evening!
