Ate dinner here on a Sunday night. Service was friendly and quick! Spam Musubi for an appetizer, warm sweet and savory. So good! The main course was chicken katsu. Crunchy breading, moist chicken along with steamed rice and Mac salad! Such a wonderful place in the heart of Marshfield!

I used to love China Chef, but since they changed owners the quality of their food has gone way down. The kalbi spare ribs had a good flavor but were fatty, chewy, and inedible. The macaroni salad was flavorless and too oily. I ordered fried dumplings but was when I arrived that they had run out, so they replaced them with some decent fried chicken wings. I’ll give China Chef one more chance.

Im a visitor to this area. Ordered sixty bucks worth of food with door dash. It was the worst chinese food I’ve ever tasted. Noodles tasted like smoke. Chicken had an overpowering flavor, couldn’t even taste the meat. Crab Rangoon were rock hard, almost broke a tooth. The crab sushi tasted like it was marinated in bbq sauce for a week. Will NEVER order here again

We went there for a sit down meal. We were the only customers eating in, but there were a lot of takeout orders in the 1 hour we were there. Our food was good, the staff was kind & friendly, and the meal was a very fair price. Thank you!

Food was terrible! The noodles were clumped together and dry, The general’s chicken was hard and chewy, And I don’t know what the h*** they gave me and called it egg voo young but it was not egg Fu young would not recommend going there!!!

Under new ownership and it’s terrible! Ordered lunch today and was delivered. My moo goo gai pan smelled and tasted like the entire bottom of the pan my food was cooked in was burned, and they served me the non-charred portion of the food. A coworker called and told them, and they agreed to deliver another lunch. When the woman arrived, she demanded I dig the first lunch out of the trash so she could see it. She opened the container and said “It looks fine to me.” She was very rude and basically accused me of lying. She gave me the new lunch and left. When I opened the container, the burned smell was overwhelming, worse than the first. It literally stunk up the office and my coworkers all agreed it was inedible. I’m not picky at all and I am understanding of mistakes, but this was awful. My coworker called back and they argued with her that it was fine. The chef even got on the phone and said he’s been cooking this for 20 years and he knows what he’s doing. They finally agreed to credit us for the lunch, but not without a 15 minute argument. This place used to be a favorite, but they will be losing our business after this experience.
