Guantonios Wood Fired Menu – Lodi, CA

Type : Pizza restaurant

Location : Lodi, CA

Guantonios is a family owned and operated restaurant. We are focused on, and inspired by, the beauty that is Northern California agriculture. We have catered events all over Northern California for the past 10 years and are excited to open our first restaurant here in Lodi. The medium we chose to introduce our food philosophy, is Pizza. We believe it is the perfect canvas to present the beautiful produce grown in the region, as well as our straightforward approach to food (plus who doesn’t love pizza!). Our dough is hand mixed & naturally leavened, using Organic, Non-GMO flour, which translates to healthier and more flavorful crust! Both the food and wine menu will be influenced by the current season and what is at its peak quality.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Food is divine. Fresh ingredients sourced locally. If i could give 10 stars it still wouldn’t be enough ❤️

Don’t sleep on the small plates! They are so creative and delicious. Like Michelin delicious. Not to mention the pizza. Everything from the crust, sauce, topping is so well thought out and balanced. The menu changes with whatever ingredients are in season. I’m so happy to have a place of this culinary caliber close to home.

Absolutely love love love this place. Wonderful food and excellent service. It’s a bit of a wait for a table, but it’s more than worth it. The appetizers with the beets and the blooming onion were amazing! The pizza we had Nick’s style was so fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to go back. My friends and I truly enjoyed ourselves!

A foodies Paradise! My husband and I traveled from Modesto for date night here and he’s still raving about how amazing everything was. Food is artfully crafted, atmosphere is clean and inspiring, service is inviting and attentive. If I could give 10 stars I would!

A true Napa/Sonoma dining experience here in Lodi, California. Menu is exceedingly interesting and brilliantly culinary. Much, much more than a simple pizza joint. Everything is crafted with a master-chef flair. All around fun place to enjoy 1:1 or family dining. Service is impeccible. Can get a little crowded so be patient on busy nights (grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the evening while waiting). So thankful for this wonderful establishment.

This may be the greatest pizza in the world (spoiler: it’s not) but a 1.5hr wait for overpriced food and drink doesn’t make the greatest impression. Maybe open longer or get a bigger space? Pizza was tasty enough, service was friendly and wine was ok. Wouldn’t come again unless it was out of peak times.

I can’t give enough stars to this restaurant! As someone who frequently comes to Lodi to visit family – I’m always left wanting in the food/restaurant department. The pizza was great but it was the appetizers and wine list that set them apart for me. They source ingredients locally, the family is hustling together to run the restaurant, and every single thing that hit our table was fantastic! I’m so excited to finally have a great place to eat in Lodi that can hold a candle to bigger cities!

Not just another pizza joint You may already know GWF is known for its excellent food, great selection of local wine & beer and friendly servers What you may not know is how cool the atmosphere is here ☮️ Very laid back and comfortable but not the typical pizza dining crowd. Outside seating is especially comfortable IMO. There are a few small tables outside under the protection of umbrellas for those sunny afternoons in summer and early fall. You can have a drink while you wait to be seated. If you get there ANYDAY after 6:00, there will be a short wait. Well worth it though! Locals love this place. At least the ones I know. Located off the beaten path. Not the norm where most successful restaurants are located in the downtown area.

This is the best pizza west of Naples, Italy. As of right now they are open 5-8 pm from Wednesday – Saturday. That is only 12 hours a week.

Thought about this before adding comments….hours are limited at this restaurant, and limited reflects the ingredients put on pizza. Ordered basic Margarita for evaluation and added pancetta…total $23. Would be hard pressed to find eight diced pieces of pancetta. Dough could have used more salt. Wine pours a scant 4 oz. However, soft served Swiss sundae nicely done. 90 minute limitation of table seating, took that long to get meal served and consumed.
