We had an overnight stay in Bakersfield and stumbled upon this place. We were blown away with the fries and the California burritos. Also, they have a lot of vegan alternatives if that is your preference. The service was amazing as well.

Stopped in for lunch as we were driving through town and it was amazing the food was delicious and came out super quick. I got the vegan lunch plate and was able to pick what 3 taco flavors I wanted. The azada was the best in my opinion but all 3 were great!

You got to come try Guapos Tacos , trust me you be back after tasting the different spices, flavors hitting your palette your connect for life. No comparison in Bakersfield. Guapos Taco is in group of Gegen in Los Angeles when they were open, now in Santa Clarita, and Stuff I Eat in Inglewood, CA. Food made with love as if you in your mama kitchen.❤️

We came here after we saw that there was a long wait at Shake N’ Buns and I’m glad we did. I had a quesadilla with chicken and my husband had 2 pastor tacos and 2 shrimp tacos. Everything was good. I really enjoyed the music, too! The place is clean and cute. I noticed plant based options as well.

Variety of vegan options, all delicious. I got three different tacos and they were all wonderful. The staff was super friendly. They didn’t give me the option to tip on the card and I didn’t have cash so be prepared for that! The food comes out quickly and the plant-based options are yummy.

You know the food was great I had the all plant based torta from el pastor style, with vegan mayo, I loved it, the only thing what my mom ordered Was a shrimp taco for $4.+… They gave her a really small tortilla with 2 tiny shrimps we should of took pictures, oh n plus apparently they charge a dollar extra for each plate that has meat in the order, idk what that’s about so of the menu says $2.99 expect to pay $1.00 on top of that. But other than that I thought it was great.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and asked if they had fish tacos (even though they’re not on the menu) and they did. I was expecting the fried version with small filets. Was pleasantly surprised with the grilled fish tacos. They were pretty much perfectly grilled with a crisp not crunchy outer and firm not mushy texture. Will definitely be ordering those again.

This is a vegan friendly Mexican taco place. We ordered 2 vegan guapo tacos, vegan quesadilla, vegan guapo fries and an order of the tamarindo beverage. The taco was really delicious and so was the quesadilla. The fries were average. The sauce accompaniment ( salsa verde and salsa roja) were really delicious.
